Hello #friends, here is my new shot called "Splashing". Taken at the island of Vir, Croatia. A very risky shoot that day, my camera was all wet that day! But it was worth it because I came up with some really nice shots. Looking forward to share them with you! This summer is going great so far. Taken with Tokina 12-24mm, edited in Lightroom.

Shooting into the sun causes no problem for the Rolleiflex with the right exposure. All the details of that splash can be seen when you enlarge the photograph.

A big swell in the North sea resulted in waves breaking over and running down the curve of the pier

A few attempts here and some help from Andy, meant this finally fell in the water facing the camera...It was camera shy before, and I just had a lot of pictures of the peel!

This was an early Splash art attempt not long after I got the kit back in 2011 .

Experimenting with some water drops and quickly realized how tricky it is! However, it was fun and will likely revisit sometime soon now that I have some experience :)

There was a commotion going on in the water as a Mallard duck was preening and washing. I watched as it splased and dived and captured this image as it disappeared down in the water.
