a new challenge: watersplashes!!!
i tryed it in this picture from caprisol. there´s a lot of it.
he did a wonderful picture full of motion - the water splashes are wonderful. i worked 4 hours to find the best way to illustrate these wild splashes.
what do you think about it? do it work?

Splash! is a special week-long event for merfolk and their friends, organised by Elite Equestrian and runs from August 16th to August 23rd.
It was a perfect place to take our kelpies for an outing and it's very beautiful. I didn't get many photos because we quickly got involved in a trivia hunt they are running based on your knowledge of mythical sea creatures. Yes, Google is your friend and we managed to win the grand prize. Unfortunately it was more suitable for females but fun to do the hunt.

I never knew how hard it was to catch a splash of water. It took ages and many adaptations. And a ton of tries. The 'blast' setting probably made it possible
Nipped out with the dog today and got captivated by this. Even though the sea was fairly calm, every time a a little surge hit this boulder it gave of a decent splash.
learning to swim is much more fun when you can splash behind you and get a great reaction......

Splash es una escultura de 21 m de altura diseñada por Program Collective y desarrollada mediante fluidos y dinámicas por Pere Gifre para la Exposición Internacional de Zaragoza de 2008; a partir del concepto de diseñadores Program Collective formado por: Mona Kim, Todd Palmer, Olga Subirós y Simon Taylor, para la exposición diseñada por Program Collective “Agua para la vida” en el Edificio Torre del Agua.
La escultura estaba formada por 135 piezas de acero y aluminio distintas que se sujetaban mediante cables de acero a la parte superior del edificio Torre del Agua. Estas piezas fueron diseñadas íntegramente por ordenador por Pere Gifre representado una gota de agua impactando en una superficie.
