My mountain climbing and photography friend Nick dropped a rock with a splash into the Afon Taihirion from B4391 road bridge so I could catch the splash on my camera.
This was processed from a single RAW Format ORF File.

My daughter is a todddler; she loves to splash in puddles. Of course there aren't always puddles available so she was very excited when it rained overnight recently. We went out behind the house so she could splash in the puddle in our parking lot. After a while she found out about making ripples when throwing rocks into the puddle and quite enjoyed that. Then she decided to experiment with what would happen if she threw in sticks, leaves, more rocks and her bouncy ball too. Very interesting.
Another wineglass splash picture. This one was supposed to clear water changing into a multicolored splash, but this was a later frame so it's hard to see the incoming clear water, and the colors had gotten so mixed that it came out as a uniform purple. Dramatic splash, though.
Not only because this cloud into the sky look like a wave, but like that little colorful splash against the rock.
A quick trip to Hastings today to collect new glasses, did not have the camera with me so a few quick snaps with the phone.

This is the best of a bad bunch unfortunately. Screwed up the DOF on the rest and didn't notice so only the front of the glass was in focus... lesson learned.
Much fun was had... much mess was made!
No flash triggers so 1 second exposure, flash fired manually to freeze.

First roll of film I've processed since 1986! Check out that dust! Yashica Electro35 GS, LegacyPro 100 film, HC-110 developer. Goodtimes.
A splash in a blue plastic bowl. I added some red vinegar from a beetroot jar into the water in the bowl. The vinegar went onto the bottom of the bowl and did not mix with the surface water. Photo taken using Powershot SX200 with an objective lens (doublet lens, +4 dioptre) from an old 20x40 spotting scope as close up lens and a DIY "adapter" (= a piece of plastic tube).
Loiskaus sinisessä muovikulhossa, johon on veden lisäksi laitettu punajuurten säilöntälientä. Liemi valui pohjalle eikä sekoittunut pintaveteen.
