I don't normally do still life but this idea just seemed like so much fun!

These Color Splash fabrics seemed perfect for the Box Step pattern!

My wife said to me last night that my previous uploads were crappy.

And it sort of compelled me to do something better like this one.

Glad it turned out ok.

Because I suffered from a lack of creativity, I came up with this rather standard shot. I am ok with the technical details (although it took me about 100 shots) and the lightly desaturated toning. I am not so happy with the originality of this picture.

SB-600 pointed on a white blanket behind the glass. It was at 1/16th power with the wide angle deflector on it. (and a plastic bag around it against the water drops)

This is my first attempt to high speed photography. I ain't really satisfied of the results but I hope that the next will be better .

Mucho improved on the previous day's pathetic attempts...

I took some advice from fellow Macro Mondayers and followed Sam Foster's example for a set-up.

Only trouble was, using my tripod to suspend the water bag, I then had no alternative but to hand-hold the camera!
