Because I suffered from a lack of creativity, I came up with this rather standard shot. I am ok with the technical details (although it took me about 100 shots) and the lightly desaturated toning. I am not so happy with the originality of this picture.

SB-600 pointed on a white blanket behind the glass. It was at 1/16th power with the wide angle deflector on it. (and a plastic bag around it against the water drops)

DofE photography Week 1&2: Water

This is my first attempt to high speed photography. I ain't really satisfied of the results but I hope that the next will be better .

Splash of water with green background. Made with diy flash trigger.

Serious fun with a few drops of water.

Another ufo.

Factory Road, Silvertown. Glad I wasn't walking past that puddle.

Today the We're Here group members are looking for things that are Serene & Calming . For me it has to be water gurgling and splashing. The sea would be better but our little river does the job each day.

Tucked away in the back of Disney's Hollywood Studios, this fountain pays tribute to the 1984 Ron Howard movie "Splash", starring Tom Hanks, John Candy, Eugene Levy, and Daryl Hannah.

Mucho improved on the previous day's pathetic attempts...

I took some advice from fellow Macro Mondayers and followed Sam Foster's example for a set-up.

Only trouble was, using my tripod to suspend the water bag, I then had no alternative but to hand-hold the camera!

My first splash !!

Inspired by the work of Siebe I decided to try a Splash myself. This should be viewed as a proof of concept for a cookie splash to follow.
