This wasn't suppose to be a "sea wave splashing" photo at all, but I'm glad I had fast fingers to capture this lovely image. It is actually around 100 milliseconds before all of us (me, my girlfriend and my camera) get soaking wet from the splashing wave. We're all fine :)
Photo taken with Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS80 on Portokatsiki beach in Lefkada, Greece.
Inspired by the work of Siebe I decided to try a Splash myself. This should be viewed as a proof of concept for a cookie splash to follow.

I learned this splash technique from one of the Flickr members. This is one of my first few attempts.
Went to Drop off Point (I'm not sure if that's really what it's called). It wasn't really my thing. Seriously, I think some people don't know me by now. I am not a nature girl. I love the beach, but I need a shower room on the side to really enjoy it, cos you know how salt water gets sticky and sand goes everywhere. It turned out to be fun though. I can not make a decent face while doing this splash thing. lol

Anyone want to admire some aerial skill and flying dexterity? Thought not - here's a crash landing instead !

Hope this counts for the latest Take Aim Challenge. I have had to take advantage of the OK to use archive shots, and it definitely isn't a fountain, but it does have water drops and splashes
Coffee splash with cookies on the side, in the outdoors.
I was inspired by Siebe, the greatest splash boy ever.

Mixed series of six. Splash Point is always a delight to visit and luckily for me it is just along the coast from home. After the Pied Wheatear I managed a few more pics of Meadow Pipit and a single one of several Black Redstarts. I waited for them to reappear with no luck.
Splashes of liquids colored with food coloring.
No flashes were used. I just lit it with two working lights and shot in shutter priority mode at 1/1000s.
As far as editing goes, I just did a quick levels adjustment, some brightness/contrast adjustments and high pass/ unsharp mask sharpening.
