Another shot from the same little moment as yesterday's upload. I couldn't decide which one I liked better, so I'll upload them both...hope you don't mind :-)
Part of my Slice of Life Series
My first splash !!

Inspired by the work of Siebe I decided to try a Splash myself. This should be viewed as a proof of concept for a cookie splash to follow.

My failed attempt at a Gavin Hoey tutorial of wine splashing out of a wine glass into a wonderful heart pattern ... but made into something I find pretty none the less ..:-)

A walk along the Cutler Brook/Markeaton brook shows how it was transformed in 1758 to create a series of lakes with waterfalls/weirs as it runs through the Kedleston Hall park on its way to the Derwent.
The Splash Pool marks one end of the Kedleston estate, thereafter becoming a brook again.
Ava, splashing in the puddle she had found. It was quite muddy, but at least it wasn't very big. It made plenty of mess as it was.
This is my daughter. She was playing in the creek at a park that I took her to while visiting my niece in TN. She is being splashed by Krisitina (my niece). They were having a blast. They are playing in a little man made waterfall/dam/overflow. Not really sure what you would call it. The water was spilling over a concrete wall about 1.5ft tall and just below the fall was a sidewalk that you could walk on. The next day I took my daughter back to this park and it had been raining that night so the water was flowing a bit harder and there were fish trying to swim up the falls. She got a big kick out of the fish swimming around her feet.
All real splashes, just cropped and sharpened a bit with a variety of backgrounds and underwater colours.
Uploading a set of 20 splash photos made a while back.
