Tous droits réservés.

Taken with Canon 50D and ef 70-200mm f4L lens at f18, open on 'bulb' in darkened room, ISO 200. Two Yongnuo 460 flashes at 1/64th either side of drop site and one at 1/16th behind white plexi background fired by radio triggers. Liquid is diluted water based paint dropped from a syringe about 18" above surface. TriggerTrap at 12" above surface with laser detector fires radio triggers. Delay on triggering is 0.125 secs.

Not entirely happy with focus and depth of field - so need to try again.

Splashing water around the Dupont Circle fountain was a common thing to do at the celebrations following Spain's win of the 2010 World Cup.

"Carrinhos caseiros" espirrando agua na pedreira sport world! ;D

I have to admit looking back this shot it was a bit risky. I had spent 15 mintues trying to climb up the cliff face to then climb along the shaft ledge that looked out over the sea. The ledge was no more than a foot wide and 25ft down so getting the shot with waves splashing high onto me and trying to protect the camera was fun.....oh and not falling lol.

Algunas personas "salpican" la vida de tal manera, con tanta fuerza y energía, que sólo con acercarse y mirar a los ojos ya nada vuelve a ser igual...

Big waves, big splashes, so big I got soaked by an errant wave because I was too busy looking through the viewfinder...

Inspired by the work of Siebe I decided to try a Splash myself. This should be viewed as a proof of concept for a cookie splash to follow.
