"Go Ducks!" Photo by Frank.

Having done many water drop, splash, oil and water photos I wanted to find something new for this theme. I set out to shoot a drop or a splash of water that would show droplet refraction's of the background. It worked!

I spent the day taking these a while back, but before i could put anything up, my friend David put up some of his own. In an attempt to look like im not coppying him, i have waited a while before uploading, so, here we go.

Series of five. Splash Point is a wonderful area to view Kittiwakes. Unfortunately the winter storms have taken their toll. The Cormorant rock was empty this time but at least it was still there.

wow i really like this a lot.

I've seen so many splash! shots lately that I wanted to try it too. I know, not very original but it looks like a lot of fun to do. And it was!! I'm not very happy with the background at this point but I was so happy it worked out the way I wanted that I decided to post this one and work on a better one in the near future...

From the comfort of my doorway, I watched the heavy, heavy rains come down onto the roses on my patio table. Made for an interesting afternoon.
