We don't usually eat dinner until about 9 or 10 pm, and this is the reason why. About 5 or 6 every night, there's an impromptu snack of bread, cheeses, and pates or other snacks. That's a ballotine de magret de canard farcie au foie gras (aka duck breast stuffed with foie gras) spread on my bread there, courtesy of Elise's mother, as well as some French roquefort cheese, some butter (I like butter with my roquefort), some local bread from Bread & Cie, washed down with a dry white burgundy.
These veggie chips and hummus are soooo good together! I want to look into making my own version of both because it's cheaper and I can control what's in it....so if anyone has any tips please share!
BTW, I forgot to tell you guys that I've lost 15 pounds woo!
