A detour around a closed bridge brought me down another dirt road and this delightful farm. Love the rusty and all metal outbuildings - the horses seemed to want to get their meal in before those nasty clouds opened up.

As I came back onto Sneydes Rd. proper I heard the familiar soft chirrup of a Zebra Finch. He sat on the fence picking off the seeds from the grass. You can see some grass hanging out of his mouth.

Purple Gallinule - Their large feet help them to walk on the long stems of vegetation - This one started climbing from the other side of the walkway up the plant until it bent over the railing from the birds weight - at which point it walked out to the end of the plant - seen here about to eat the blooms.

A snack for my granddaughter made of cherry tomatoes, cucumber, mozzarella, chives, salami and dots of sour cream. This is also my favorite snack, but I don't make myself mushrooms from these foods.
