I ran out of snacks for the blue jays, trust me they will let you know in their own subtle way when the food is gone. 😃

Put out a fresh bird block and it didn’t take long for the blue jays to come around and start getting their fair share.
Lanner falcons are well known for the blistering speed at which they hunt birds, but they sure do not turn a blind eye to a termite snack!

Yuki loves to eat all versions of dandelions. From the fresh flower to the leaves to the dried seeds to the roots. These are pesticide free as they are from our own field so they are actually good for her. She has just eaten some dried seeds which are stuck to her tongue.

As I came back onto Sneydes Rd. proper I heard the familiar soft chirrup of a Zebra Finch. He sat on the fence picking off the seeds from the grass. You can see some grass hanging out of his mouth.
