The difficulties of weaning . . . when mom is ready and baby isn't! This little fawn was determined to have a bedtime snack. Mom figured a snack on fresh greens would be better and after a few minutes of nursing led the tyke off to graze.

A slightly disheveled chipmunk has a quick snack atop Mt. Seorak in Korea's Taebaek range.

This was my first time to see a chipmunk and first time since childhood to stand above the clouds.
