Rerooted Morning Dew Giselle in Raven (Styled after Spectacular Spectacular Eugenia)

Clouds Over the Yakima River

This photograph of the Sun, taken on December 19, 1973, during the third and final manned Skylab mission, shows one of the most spectacular solar prominences ever recorded, spanning more than 588,000 kilometers (365,000 miles) across the solar surface. The loop prominence gives the distinct impression of a twisted sheet of gas in the process of unwinding itself. In this photograph the solar poles are distinguished by a relative absence of supergranulation network, and a much darker tone than the central portions of the disk. Several active regions are seen on the eastern side of the disk. The photograph was taken in the light of ionized helium by the extreme ultraviolet spectroheliograph instrument of the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory.

Te Mata Peak is a peak south of Hastings rising up to 399m in the Hawke's Bay region of New Zealand. A sealed road leads to the popular lookout at the summit, as well as several trails for hikers and mountain bikers. The Hastings suburb of Havelock North is built on the slopes of the peak

Fiery Searcher. Calosoma scrutator hunts caterpillars, is big, fast, and spectacular. Just exactly why it is spectacular is clear, when attached it exudes odor heavy on the bad smells and who would want to eat that. So, if you like to dress up in iridescence of any kinds, then just be sure to bring along some repellent to keep the predators at bay. We can learn so much from insects. Collected while on a stroll in Arkansas by FT Eyre.

Monument valley, one of my most favorite places in United States.

DECEMBER FUN AT GULF STREAM PARK

Why I like BC, reason #3: its spectacular wilderness. Here's a sample - morning at Rock Lake, in Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park, in the Canadian Rockies. Of course, what looks fabulous doesn't always feel great, and the truth is that this was one of the coldest backpacking trips I ever attempted. I was hit with a major snowfall in the 3rd week of September, and camped here for three nights before turning back. That nub of a white peak in the background left is actually towering Mount Assiniboine, my destination, but this was as close as I got to it on that trip. The snow in the passes was deep. So it goes. This was the single sunny morning of the trip; the other days it was either snowing or the valley was filled with fog from evaporation. An hour after I shot this image, the fog rolled in and the warmth vanished. But it sure was beautiful...

There were several people in the background here whom I seem to have fairly successfully weeded out.

A clear, calm evening in early October gave way to incredible color and reflections.

Spectacular sunset over Sonoma County...

It is, of course, Yosemite Falls. Taken as the first light of the morning struck the lower falls and made a rainbow effect. I think we could all use a little more vitamin rainbow in our lives.

Southsea Spectacular 11 June 2017. Southdown Leyland Titan PD3/4 / Northern Counties open top 409 is preserved by Stagecoach South and officially numbered 19909. It is seen here on Clarence Esplanade, Southsea passing the naval war memorial. One hopes that the many Stagecoach preserved buses will not be sold following the forthcoming merger/takeover with/by National Express.

Taken from my local beach. I waited nearly two hours for this to develop as the sky just kept getting better.
