I caught this athelete running by the beach as well. Guess must be training for some sort of event. This is a mild HDR processed shot.
Una exitosa jornada vivió el pasado sábado 27 de septiembre en el Sporting Club de Viña del Mar la X Olimpiada Escolar Campeones para Viña 2014.
Con más de 120 deportistas escolar representando a sus respectivos establecimientos educacionales, la mañana del pasado 27 de septiembre se realizó en el Sporting Club de Viña del Mar, la prueba de pista de atletismo por la X Olimpiada Escolar campeones para Viña 2014. En la jornada, se midieron categorías damas y varones de enseñanza media en 100, 400, 800 y 1500 mts. planos, además de posta 4 x100 metros, lanzamiento bala y salto largo.
Como en toda competencia siempre se dan sorpresas, este año, la atleta Macarena Maurer Torres, representando al Colegio Alemán, obtuvo la mejor marca técnica del torneo con un registro de 12 metros y 65 centímetros en la prueba de lanzamiento de bala, a 35 centímetros de la marca clasificatoria para torneos sudamericanos en su categoría.

The inaugural Bonny 10k road race took place on Sunday 22 Sept 2013.
The race around Bonnybridge, Falkirk, was organised by Bonnybridge Community Council to help raise funds for Driving Force cancer support charity and the local primary school.
Em jeito de celebração do Dia do Pai, a Runporto voltou a levar a cabo mais uma corrida comemorativa das homenagens a todos os pais (e também mães!), naquela que é também uma das mais marcantes provas para a equipa EM’Força, sendo já a quarta edição em que ajudamos a encher as ruas do Porto de Magia solidária.
A vestir a camisola Mágica nesta prova contámos com cerca de 30 atletas, incluindo algumas estreias e, claro, os grandes destaques: os nossos campeões que correm por eles e por todos os que, como eles, vivem com Esclerose Múltipla, o Alexandre Dias, a Patrícia Simões e o Pedro Braga.

The Fingal 10KM Road Race was held in Swords, North County Dublin, Ireland on Sunday July 22nd 2012 at 10:00. This is the first running of this event as it is a brand new fixture in the successful annual Dublin Marathon Race Series. The Fingal 10KM is unique in the series that it is being held outside of the Phoenix Park. Three athletic clubs from Fingal ( Clonliffe Harriers, Fingallians and Metro St Brigids ) assisted in organising the event. Revenue generated by the race will be channelled back to these clubs. Support is also provided by Fingal County Council. Overall there was a very large level of participation in the event with almost 5,000 athletes taking to the streets of Swords and roads of surrounding areas.
