First hour after being brought "home" to my grandparent's new horsie haven. Valentino was running around like a fool. This was the best horse running shot I'd ever gotten.
I grabbed my favorite quilt and used it as a back drop so you can check out my awesome running skills. -Trogdor
The St. Barry's GAA Half Marathon and 8KM Road Races were held in Tarmonbarry, Co. Rosscommon, Ireland on Sunday 14th October at 11:00. The Tarmonbarry Half is now a well established race in the October calendar of races leading up to the Dublin Marathon. The race is run on the old N5 road and on the rural roads leading back in a clockwise direction to the finish at Tarmonbarry GAA grounds.
Overall this is a very nice race - with a testing course. There was a really nice spread of refreshments afterwards provided by the GAA and the local community.
How can I get a full resolution copy of these photographs?
All of the photographs here on this Flickr set have a visible watermark embedded in them. All of the photographs posted here on this Flickr set are available, free, at no cost, at full resolution WITHOUT watermark. We take these photographs as a hobby and as a contribution to the running community in Ireland. We do not know of any other photographers who operate such a policy. The first and inaugural Kilcock Kilomarathon 2012 was held at Kilcock, Co. Kildare, Ireland on Sunday 30th September 2012 at 11:00. The kilomarathon is approximately 26.3 kilometers (a little over 16 miles). The race started and ended in Kilcock GAA club and took a left turn route out to Newtown, then Donadea The Range, Tirmoghan, and returning back via the Clane Road Roundabout to Kilcock GAA. The course was a testing course but good preparation for the Dublin City Marathon. The Kilcock GAA club and Kilcock Athletic Club deserve praise on a very well organised event - good stewarding, an accurately marked route, good after race facilities and refreshments. The race was timed by precision timing.
