It was quite early in the morning but the sun was already up and the light was very bright and harsh.
I had to lie prone on the look-out deck to photograph this duck in order to avoid the glare from the water and the background reed vegetation.

It was so strangely quiet walking along the sea front in Bournemouth on a Monday morning. But... with a week to go before the next stage of our government's "roadmap" out of lockdown, we could see people working at hotels and entertainment areas, such as this, in preparation of people being allowed indoors and overnight from next Monday, May 17 :) Hopefully that will mean people inside the pods on the big wheel.
Bufflehead (F) needs a running start for taking off.
Image taken at ISO 5000, the noise is quite apparent. Nevertheless, I find the reflections and the overall image scheme quite pleasing.
