Airmen, Family and friends of the 20th Air Support Operations Squadron, have begun the Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) 24-Hour Challenge by running, walking, rucking and log carrying inside of a half-mile loop around their compound on Fort Drum, New York, April 26, 2018. The TACP community across the globe participates in this event annually, carrying the TACP and unit colors for 24 hours straight to honor their fallen comrades.

The second running of the Devlin GAA 5KM Road Race and Fun Run was held in Delvin, Co. Westmeath, Ireland on Easter Bank Holiday Monday April 1st 2013 at 12:00. The race was held as a fund raiser for Devlin Community Games and Underage GAA development. This 5KM is AAI approved and was open to competitive runners, fun runners, and walkers. The heavy rain from last year's race was replaced with bitterly cold and windy conditions which still did not deter a large crowd of participants from the local community and beyond taking part. The race started on the N52 Delvin Mullingar road and then proceeded to take a right-handed course around some side roads until the race emerges again on the N52 for the finish at the Devlin GAA grounds.
Refreshments were served in the Devlin GAA clubhouse after the race. Overall, the event was again a successful one. The race starts and ends on the N52 road which makes it a particularly challenging organisational task for the race organisers. However, everything was managed well and there was a great race event.
Overall Race Summary
Participants: Approximately 200 people
Weather: Dry, bitterly cold, with strong head wind
Course: Mixture of National Primary Route road and rural backroads with some difficult hills - accurate measurement. Almost an entire traffic free course.
Refreshments: Yes - lots - served afterwards in the GAA club.

As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.

We do not charge for these images. We take these photographs as our contribution to the running community in Ireland. The inaugural Clongowes Wood College 5k hosted by the Order of Malta took place in the magnificent surrounds of Clongowes Wood College. The 5K charity run was in aid the ‘Order of Malta International Summer Camp for Young
Disabled 2013-Ireland. The race was very very well attended by over 500 runners, joggers, and walkers. The organising committee had a very well organised race with well marshalled roads and a stunning 900m straight from the college
gates to the finish line. The race was held on 1st April 2012

O passado sábado ficou marcado por uma magnÃfica demonstração de solidariedade. Na Foz do Arelho, foram 12 os atletas da equipa EM'Força a vestir a nossa "magia" nos 10 Km da Lagoa. Mas como nem só de quilómetros vive esta equipa, este lutador núcleo da equipa na zona das Caldas da Rainha abraçou um desafio acrescido: angariar fundos para a SPEM.
A ideia passava, assim, por associar uma contribuição aos quilómetros percorridos nesta prova, consistindo o desafio criado pelo grupo de atletas em retribuir com 1€ por cada quilómetro. No total, foram angariados 160,00€, tendo alguns atletas que não puderam dar o seu contributo na estrada feito o seu donativo para esta causa.
Assim, cabe-nos agradecer, do fundo do coração, a todos estes rostos solidários que ajudaram nesta angariação de fundos:
