The St. Cocas AC 5KM Road Race was held at Kilcock, Co. Kildare, Ireland on Friday 29th of June 2012 at 20:00. The race was part of the Kilcock Canal Festival. The race was very well attended by over 300 athletes. This race forms part of the Kildare Summer Race League. However, all of the local clubs from Meath, Westmeath, Dublin, and Offaly had athletes in attendance. The course is a lovely left-handed loop course in the countryside and is very suitable for fast times. It was a breezy, but lovely summers evening. This was in contrast to the near monsoon conditions of last year (see the pictures on our Flickr).

It has rained daily during the past week and has been too wet to mow. Finally had a chance to mow. Now I need to rake up the piles of grass.
Whenever Olivia needed a break from homeschooling work she was doing, she would run around the backyard and either jump over the piles of grass or weave in and out of them.
Then she'd come back to her blanket and pillow and start working again - either on language arts, reading, or map skills.
Our church had an awesome event called The Great Giveaway this Spring! It was basically a huge yard sale where everything was FREE! SO many people came out - they were lined up at the entrance for hours waiting, and then ran to get what they wanted. It was so cool.
