NGC 1977, NGC 1973 and NGC 1975 - Running Man Nebula
Reflection nebula NGC 1977, NGC 1973 and NGC 1975 and open cluster NGC 1981 This colorful group of reflection nebula are located just north of Messier 42 and Messier 43, which can be partially seen at the bottom of this image.
Found along Orion's sword just north of the bright Orion Nebula complex, these reflection nebulae are also associated with Orion's giant molecular cloud about 1,500 light-years away but are dominated by the characteristic blue color of interstellar dust reflecting light from hot young stars.
A (really) wet winter in California this year has prevented me from getting more useful data on this - but the results is still worth presenting.

A young coastal brown bear chases after its mother through the Cook Inlet mudflats at low tide, shedding mud from its paws. The mudflats have lots of areas such as this that have mud with quicksand-like sucking properties and although the bears don't appear to get stuck, people and ATVs do. I had a little trouble unsticking one of my boots without it getting sucked off my foot. Silver Salmon Creek, Alaska, Pacific Northwest.

Resplendent in BR Large Logo livery with an Inverness Highland Stag badge, Class 37/4 37418 runs around its train at Rhymney having brought a commuter service up the valley from Cardiff.
Running behind time, NR84 runs solo with 4PM4 through Miniera.
Although designated as a steel service, this train only had one steel wagon, and the rest appears to be excess intermodal traffic
They say that "A picture is worth a thousand words".
But a picture can lie (without words).
Actually, there were naive bonfires there, and she was running 'just like that'.
But why not create alternative facts?
Bigger and more important than me do it…
It can make life much more interesting or exciting.

Running along the narrow ledge carved out of the Alaskan Mountains through the Healy Canyon under a midnight sunset is Alaska Railroad's southbound road freight from Fairbanks to Anchorage. The train running as train 130S, with a three pack of the railroads EMD SD70MACs, tiptoes through the tight confines of the Healy Canyon on the narrow ledge keeping the railroad from falling over 100 feet to the Nenana River below. The train and its crew will go as far south as Broad Pass where they will meet with the Northbound train 130N and swap crews. The Fairbanks crew returning to Fairbanks and the Anchorage Crew returning to Anchorage.
Hare on the run (lepus Europaeus). Prepared for some nature action with a small telelens (180mm), this running hare illustrates the Dutch expression 'leapfrog'. Translated in Holland it is called 'leaphare' (haasje-over) :-)
I've been a bit quiet of late as changing computer systems. I am now finally up and running with a Mac mini twinned with an Asus ProArt monitor.
Loving it so far - great to be able to download images without killing time hoovering etc... It was a pain having such a slow machine, but a little thing called money sort of restricts you from being able to replace broken tech instantly.
I also treated myself to a 1.4 teleconverter for my 400mm lens and this was my first try out with last nights moonrise. Pretty pleased with it! Only problem I forgot to clean my lens - duh!!! there was a ton of dust spots which my new monitor proudly showed off!!
I think the AI dust removal tool has helped but don't look too closely, it needs fine tuning!
I have just recently got back from my trip to York. This will be the first of many uploads from my trip.
Here we have a running stream that I shot with a 5 second exposure time limit.
