My Mom got this wonderful hand-made outfit (vintage trims attached to a ready-made shirt and skirt) at Round Top during the big Spring event. You can't tell, but the suspenders are made from long, long zippers.
Rattoo round tower was constructed in the 12th century by the Augustinians on the site of a monastery founded by St Lugach, which was dedicated to St. Peter and Paul.
This historic hotel was completed in 1902 and contained the largest free standing dome in the United States until 1955. Upon completion, the hotel was nicknamed the 8th Wonder of the World. A stellar renovation has returned this beautiful hotel to its former glory. Today, the hotel seems very out of place in its small Indiana town.
OBSERVATION: The gorgeous centerpiece slowly changes color at night and attracts everyone's attention to the enormity of the cavernous domed ceiling.

This is the Lenox "Eerie-Go-Round" carousel for their Halloween village. I just love it. It has rats, crows, and a broomstick on it.

Well, the Habs' season is over. They lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning in the second round of the playoffs tonight. It was a disappointing end to a pretty great season.
But it was not all bad tonight, John and I met Steve Shutt at The Big's Restaurant before the game this evening. After reading many hockey books over this NHL season, and watching the classic New Year's Eve Habs vs Red Army game from 1975 just a few days ago, it was pretty exciting to meet a legend from the old Habs dynasty days. I got him to autograph my jersey as well.
