Years ago, apparently the engineering school at WVU was experimenting with these cylindrical concrete stones, and my Grandpa got a bunch for either free or cheap... and used them to build all the garden walls. They are very nice and honestly stay right where you put them without mortar for... well.. they've been there 40 years. A few got hit by cars and they just fell over, they didn't break.

You can see them a few other places in town but as far as I know you can't get them anywhere.

They are super-great and I love them.

$30.00 for all 29 pieces - Item #255 : This is the 'Alton Sheraton Ivory' pattern by W.H. Grindley of England. This pattern was discontinued in 1925. I have 29 pieces in total and am asking $30. for the entire lot of 29. The 29 pieces consist of: 6 fruit bowls, 6 soup bowls, 2 saucers, 3 over-sized saucers, 3 dessert plates, 1 oval serving platter, 1 oval vegetable bowl, 1 round vegetable bowl (as pictured above), 1 sugar bowl with lid, 2 creamers, 1 gravy boat with attached underplate, 1 cereal bowl. Some pieces are in better shape than others ie the platter is quite faded- most pieces are in average to good condition.

Karen invited me to be apart of a round robin book swap, so excited. We each get to pick our own theme. I choose an Alice in Wonderland Theme

I built my book from Masonite, vintage wallpaper, fabrics, trims and I've used my handmade papier mache medallion for the cover.

When the book finally arrives home, I will finish decorating the covers and finish my extra page.
