The rest areas in the country have improved quite a bit since we started taking long road trips (15 years ago!). Iowa has especially nice ones with large areas to walk dogs, Wi-Fi, and RV dump stations. We've even found a few that have trails to hike on!

Boys Estate, GA- I-95 S Bound as I-95 takes traffic from GA 99 and all points north to Brunswick and Jacksonville with it going ultimately to Miami.
At this little rest area, there's a hidden waterfall in the picnic area. They don't really mention it on the signs for the rest area, it's only on one sign that's up the trail a ways. If you don't know there's a waterfall here, you'd probably never find it.
