This is the second of two Red Tailed Hawks that ended up in an Eagle's nest. Speculation as to how such a thing has happen has everyone guessing. It shares the nest with 3 Eaglets that seem to tolerate it, and the mature Female Eagle feeds it. Hope it fledges soon before the Eaglets realize what it is, just another meal??
Tasha is a young graphic designer from New York. She has an exuberant personality, loves strong and bright colors, and has a certain tendency towards ... drastic decisions!
A couple of years ago, she decided to dye her hair pink: since then, she has changed her clothing to always be perfectly matched with her hair.
No more brown, no gray, no green, no purple ... Just lots of red, lots of blue, a few touches of black and white, just a little yellow. She has given away or thrown away everything that did not match her new color palette, and since then ... she lives as if she were a work of art herself!
red
a red-ness,
blushing,
walking red-ness,
red- ness, ashamed,
city, red-ness,
whispers.
sky, red-ness,
an undefined mad-ness

a smile about the moon

My LLTdoll Red Dove head in tan skin arrived today! sadly, he will spend some time in a box until I have the funds for his body. Only then will I send him off for a faceup and ear mod. The head is gorgeous - wonderfully sculpted and a very pretty skin ton. The pictures are close but in reality his skin tone has a slightly more olive tone. I'm hopeful it is not too far off from dollshe pale tan.
This used to be one of the main Red Light districts of Dublin, until they installed the LUAS. Now the kerb-crawlers can't cruise the area like they used to.
This is two LUAS trams passing each other with a 20 second exposure......which was too long.
I hadn't intended to shoot this. I had spent a couple of hours shooting The Bridge and as I headed across the road I saw the LUAS X 2 approaching, so, like Superman in a telephone box - no I didn't wear my pants outside my jeans....you people!!! - I transformed from Mac the pedestrian to Mac the Snapper.
Plonk. Click. Bingo Bongo!
Red "rings" inwardly with a determined and powerful intensity. It glows in itself, maturely, and does not distribute its vigor aimlessly. ...

A close up of a Red Admiral, lots of these to be found in the Butterfly garden at Chambers Farm Woods today.
My backyard at the live oak tree. Male Red Bellied Woodpecker has the red cap all the way fwd to the beak where the female red stops above the eye. See earlier shots.
OUT FOR the Day....Catch up on comments tomorrow.

The lifeless, yet wildly animated skeleton of a recently expired red cedar. It looks like it led a full life! (Tree-Mendous Tuesday, TMT)

A stunning bird with its bright red bill and tail streamers. The Latin name derives from the legend of Phaeton, son of Helios (the sun god of Greek mythology) who nearly set the earth on fire by driving his chariot too close to the sun.
Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes). I spotted this one out of the corner of my eye when out looking for owls. It obviously had us spotted but was happy to go about it's business and hunted for a rodent while we watched. Then after a few minutes it wandered off into the undergrowth. A few nights later we came across a family of 5 in the same location so I'm assuming this was one of them.It really does feel good when wild animals act as though we are not a danger to them and carry on with normal behavior.
