The exterior of a Church, which was perched up on top of a hill next to the beach where we spent many hours relaxing.
Despite being a very small cross, it added quite a bit of atmospheric light to the interior church.
Busy day today with the family, but will catch up tomorrow.

The Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) is a bird of prey, one of three species colloquially known in the United States as the "chickenhawk," though it rarely preys on chickens[citation needed]. It breeds throughout most of North America, from western Alaska and northern Canada to as far south as Panama and the West Indies, and is one of the most common buteos in North America. Red-tailed Hawks can acclimate to all the biomes within its range. There are fourteen recognized subspecies, which vary in appearance and range. It is one of the largest members of the genus Buteo in North America, typically weighing from 690 to 1600 grams (1.5 to 3.5 pounds) and measuring 45–65 cm (18 to 26 in) in length, with a wingspan from 110 to 145 cm (43 to 57 in). The Red-tailed Hawk displays sexual dimorphism in size, with females averaging about 25% heavier than males.
Here we are in 2008 and I gotta wonder why is it a rare thing to find a broken robot lying around.By now everyone should have at least one robot slave. What gives?
Always have been wanting photos of a Red Fox and/or kits. So imagine my surprise when my parents called me last weekend and said they have a Fox den in their backyard! Luckily my parents only live an hour away. Well of course the next day I was out there photographing 2 of the 4 kits that were running around in the woods. These little guys were fearless. At times they were within 20 feet of me as I stood out there with my camera. REALLY hopefully they do this every year. Had lots of fun watching the antics of these little guys. Used fill flash here to compensate the harsh afternoon light I had, to balance things out.

I am intellectually defunct. My brain has eaten itself.
And so, all I can think of is:
Red.
This is red.
Red, red, red.
Muh.
Guh.
Drool.
Red.
(Oh, also -- come, be my pupil! Fight me at the silly cartoon anime creator arena thing! Woo! monkeyfinger.mybrute.com/ )
Compare this with the previously uploaded shot and you will see how the spots at the wing tips are more red in this angle. This shot was using the sun only for illumination.
Octopus was about 14 cm long from head to tip of tentacle.
