Red Kite in flight - Rotmilan im Flug

This red-winged blackbird was singing in the rain at Commonwealth Lake.

Attempted this night capture at 5 seconds and ISO 4000 to keep from blowing out the lighthouse in the light from the parking lot. Was still able to get some of that Milky Way beyond that was out over the Atlantic Ocean beyond the lighthouse.

Red-browed Finch snacking on grass seeds. I had to crawl on my stomach ever so slowly towards this little guy and was able to get reasonably close enough to get this shot.
