The red patches at this angle have an orange tint. None of these colors would be visible without the strong sunlight reflecting through the scales.

Another iris that recently bloomed in my garden. Both my Nikon and iPhone can't really capture the color of the flower. It's a beautiful ox blood red.

This was the best photo I could get of the red ink allergy effects. My skin is not raised a lot, but it is lumpy looking and still itches a month after getting it done. It's slowly going away (I think) so hopefully soon it will look normal. At least it's not losing any color.
- www.kevin-palmer.com - This red sand was found near the Sand Dune Arch. This narrow canyon sees either very little or no sunlight. So it is much cooler than the surrounding desert.
Calzones in North Beach is red, red, red. Forget white balance, you need red balance. I liked these glasses hanging at the bar, waiting for red wine.
I used my new 40 mm pancake lens on this day. It was sharp, fun and easy to carry. But it took me a while to stop trying to zoom it.

Red clover is very common in the spring.....it is grown is huge quantities to feed livestock. The red flower is very pretty

I tried several different setups, but all gave more light than I wanted, so ended up with a regular 100 watt bulb, back right, through an umbrella, through a space between black background and black sides. I also originally planned to make it black and white, but in the end preferred the color version.
