Red Mountain is a 7,375 foot mountain in the foothills of the Colorado Front Range that overlooks the town of Manitou Springs. It lies just south of the Manitou Incline and offers great views of the many hikers ascending the grueling trail that ascends nearly 2,000 feet in just one mile. The summit of Red Mountain features the graffitied remains of the old summit house. I took this photo using a Canon 6D DSLR camera and a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM lens.

Raindrops on red petals. Picture created from a focus stack of 26 photos taken with a Canon 35mm macrophoto lens mounted on bellows. The subject was illuminated by diffused flash.
This little red deer fawn confidently wandered away from the herd for a brief moment, etching closer and closer to myself. It did not seem bothered by my presence at all and when the youngster turned back towards the other deer I was able to get this nice shot.
Snapped by James.
a trip up to see if i could spot a red squirrel , and my luck was in , managed to see two little Reds today .they were quite distant at times as there were quite a few people walking dogs thank you for all your views and comments.
Fun to see this tiny cars. I would not want to be in wreck with any car but especially a little one like this. I hope they are much tougher than they look.
The day after Arne we headed to Brownsea in search of the squirrels and were not disappointed. Unfortunately by the time i'd spotted the opportunity for the action shots light was fairly low, i'll be making a return trip looking to improve on these images!
In Florida, Red-shouldered Hawks breed from January through May or through June . Most birds reside in Florida, but the states' population is
augmented in September and October by fall migrants from northern states.
The Red-shouldered Hawk is probably the most numerous and widely distributed breeding hawk in Florida. Pairs
are quite noticeable as they circle above their territories, incessantly crying "kee-yar kee-yar," and intermittent
performing undulating sky-dances.
I found this one perched on a fence doing his crying thing, at Dinner Island Ranch WMA. Hendry County, Florida.
It was just one of over a dozen I saw that day.
These two red telephone boxes were not in the greatest condition but they both had working telephones in them.
I enjoyed my visit to Coventry thanks for all your comments on my pictures.
While I was exploring P.E.I. I noticed the red colored soil which reminded me of my travels around Australia. I saw a few dirt roads off of the main road I was driving on and thought I should try a hyperlapse going down one of them. This was the first dirt road I found after having that thought, and without knowing what was at the end, I strapped my camera to the roof and slowly drove down the road while my camera was snapping away. I figured that the road would end at the water that I could see in the distance, and if it did, I thought I'd park there and eat lunch while my camera shot a timelapse. I found a nice surprise waiting for me at the end of the road, which you'll see in the next shot.
Eleanora didn't normally dream. But when she did, it was always red dreams... nothing but red.
For some reason, lately she has been dreaming of green plants too...

Hi! This shot is actually from a few months ago, but at the moment I didn't like it so I just let it there. And today I wanted to upload a photo of my little vampire so I got it back.
Hope you like it!
