Sure ... a red rose, but here, not for the traditional symbolic... blblb...
In observing his reflections, different petals, its openings and closures, light and shade, and many other things ... learn to observe and discover something surprising.
This is not my favorite flower, but I must admit it was pretty faces.
Some people just look good all the time don't they! Even when they are a'bloody'sleep! I kick and talk, not so pretty here, hahahaha.
Anyway, this is a candid shot from the same back yard festival. Rosie, as you guys have seen in several of my other shots, (the two from Dartmoor), is rather photogenic. I love her hair! x

The best way to identify Red-necked Phalaropes is by all the disabled vehicles around their nest. This one we attracted to my speaker by playing Garth Brooks. #redneckjokes
I'm not sure what captured this hawk's attention but it stayed put allowing me to take several good shots of it. Usually red-tailed hawks are very skittish with me.
No estoy seguro de lo que captaba la atención de este gavilán pero quedó muy quieto permitiendo que tomara unas fotos buenas de él. Usualmente, los gavilanes colirrojos son muy asustadizos cuando me acerco.
They are spreading color all around through those lovely soft antennas.

This lovely red satin teddy has beautiful lace trimmings to give it a luxurious feminine look. What a joy to wear it outside in the cool breeze.

The red kite (Milvus milvus) is a medium-large bird of prey in the family Accipitridae, which also includes many other diurnal raptors such as eagles, buzzards, and harriers. The species is currently endemic to the Western Palearctic region in Europe and northwest Africa, though formerly also occurred just outside in northern Iran.
The Red Fort (usually transcribed into English as Lal Qil'ah or Lal Qila) is a 17th-century fort complex constructed by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan[1] in the walled city of Old Delhi (in present day Delhi, India) that served as the residence of the Mughal Emperors. The fort was the palace for Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan's new capital, Shahjahanabad, the seventh city in the Delhi site. He moved his capital here from Agra in a move designed to bring prestige to his reign, and to provide ample opportunity to apply his ambitious building schemes and interests. It served as the capital of the Mughals until 1857, when Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar was exiled by the British Indian government.
At Halcyon Lake. I spotted a heron first and snuck in for a close shot. Then I realized this Red Tail was sitting just 5 ft above. The 400f5.6L was perfect!

I’m kicking of the first weeks of the New Year with some new MOCs! I’ll be working on a few Red Cog mechs throughout the year. Inspiration draws from the KG bots in the Jak and Daxter series.Feel free to add to the theme. =)
Red Cog: Locust
A superior bipedal robot used for “quality control” of the Qunitos galaxy. The Locust units in particular serve as the “poster boys” for the RED COG faction. They, along with their mechanical brothers were developed to aid in conquest of the Korthos sector in the Quintos galaxy. Every factory produced mech is clad in red armor and sent off for battle, defense, or surveillance. Currently the RED COG faction has been met with resistance from surrounding planets, as well as both HERO FACTORY and Earth issued forces.
Typical RED COG mech weapons include blasters, energy beams, bombs, missile launchers, spinning blades of death and sniper rifles. The standard hand to hand combat is not out of question either. There are numerous types designed for different environments and assignments.
Enjoy! This also serves as my concept idea for the group project -Disty- started over in www.flickr.com/groups/1412762@N23/
