Red Squirrels usually live for 3 - 4 years. Outside of the breeding season females are tolerant of each other. This one was seen in the Cairngorms, Scotland.

Thanks for looking :)

A few problems with this one - it doesn't bear looking at larger, so just - don't!! If I got the windows straight, the vase was crooked, and vice versa, hence the angle!! Nevertheless, the red flowers appealed and the red glass vase just looks great, so I thought I would share anyways!!
…An instantly recognizable bird, the red-headed Woodpecker is a medium-sized woodpecker that prefers an open country full of dead trees…😎😎

I went down to London a few weeks ago so went to check a spot I know to see what the foxes were like. To my amazement this female came running right up to me (I'd not seen her since 2019). An evening well spent as far as I'm concerned. :)
The red window frame neatly matches the red frame of the bike!
Would the lady who rides this red-framed bike really shop here? The shoes on the left are reduced price in the sale, down from 795 euros to a measly 395 euros, who could resist?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS !
one of two reds at the National Trust's Mount Stewart squirrel hide this morning in rather dark and damp conditions
This cute red house from 1852 that looks like a ski lodge gets a brief mention in the Society of Architectural Historians overview of Coudersport.
And I love the thought of coming home to you
Even if I know we can't make it
I love the thought of giving hope to you
Just a little ray of light shining through
Love can bend and breathe alone
Until the end it finds you a home
Don't care what the people may say
It's always friends that feel so good
Let's make amends like all good men should
Pleasure at the fairground on the way
And I love the thought of coming home to you
Even if I know we can't make it
I love the thought of giving hope to you
Just a little ray of light shining through

I was glad when I heard my Red-bellied Woodpecker this afternoon. I hadn't heard or seen him in a couple weeks and was afraid one of our Hawks may have gotten him.
The was working on a hole on this branch when a Downy showed up on a branch above him and this is him telling the Downy to hit the road.
The weather has been challenging here in NL, so very few slots of good light. However this evening I was happy to capture this field of red tulips.
Many thanks for your favs and comments.

A wonderful sight greeted us as we trudged up some slopes covered in snow in the Findhorn Valley: a large herd of between 40-50 red deer, alert to our every move. They gradually disappeared over the top of the ridge, led by one of the stags.
At the beginning of August I spent another afternoon/evening trying to photograph wild Red Foxes.
The weather was a mix of rain showers and blue sky.
There was quite a wait for the first Red Fox to show up.
This one was a young Fox who was very nervous and only spent a short time in view.
