On a rainy morning, one maple is turning well before the other trees around it. The tips of its branches are ablaze with fire-colors; red, yellow and orange.

Went to the local wildlife park to have a play with my camera. This Red Panda decided to pose for me then he sat down and had a scratch and I preferred this to the posed shots!

I liked this shot because you can actually see this guy's red belly, which is usually much more subtle.
Another Red Eyed TreeFrog shot from Costa Rica. These red flower stalks made perfect perching tools in the forest!
The Red-crested Pochard is a strikingly beautiful diving duck found across Europe and Asia, often favoring lakes, ponds, and marshes with dense aquatic vegetation. Males are easily recognizable by their vibrant orange-red head, bright red bill, and contrasting black chest, while females sport a subtler brown plumage with pale cheeks. Known for their graceful swimming and dabbling behavior, these ducks primarily feed on aquatic plants, seeds, and small invertebrates. During the breeding season, they nest near water, with the male often guarding the territory.
