A new spot for lineside photography - in dull conditions here we see GBRF locomotive 66725 heading north through Sutton Bonnington on the MML with 4H96 from Luton Redland Sdgs to Tunstead Sdgs on the afternoon of the 17/12/20.

Passing in the nick of time for the sun, here we see Greater loco 90010 working the 15:22 Norwich to Liverpool Street ()1P49) on the afternoon of the 1/9/19.

Anfang April, Sonnenschein, T-Shirt Temperaturen, also nix wie los in die Oberpfalz und 218er am RE2 fotografieren! Das war mein Vorhaben am verganngenen Freitag! Für den Südfahrer RE 4863 fand ich im kleinen Örtchen Escheldorf eine Fotostelle, von der ich noch keine Bilder gesehen habe.

Von der dortigen Brücke hat man gegen Mittag kaum Schattenwürfe und kann das Form-Vorsignal mit zugehöriger Infrastruktur umsetzen.

Dazu hat man einen tollen Blick in die dort typisch hügelige Landschaft, sogar den Rödelbach (welcher übrigens auch durch den leeren Rechenweiher führt) erkennt man auf dem Foto.

Alternative Fotostelle wäre Esig Reuth gewesen, da ich dort die 218 416 schon mal fotografiert habe und sich etliche andere Fotografen dort tummelten, war ich mit der gefundenen Fotostelle mehr als zufrieden.

OBB S-Bahn unit 4024 121 was captured on the outskirts of Bischoshofen with the 11:07 service from Freilassing to Saalfelden on the afternoon of the 8/2/20.

Here we see OBB Vectron 1293 177 working a mixed freight on the afternoon of the 13/9/22 heading towards Bischofshofen and beyond. The train was captured between Pfarrwerfen and Bischofshofen.

First time of seeing these new OBB Vectron loks - Here we see one of the new OBB Vectron 1293 021 working hard on the rear of a ROLA service from Brenner to Worgl Nord terminal on the morning of the 6/2/19 captured in St Jodok, Austria. For info, 193876 could be found up front.

Here we see the new 386201 loco in action working IC1003 from Praque to Kosice captured during an intermittent spell of sunshine and blue sky.

For info, the RJ class 386s did not have number's on the front at the time this was taken. You might need to take a side shot of the locomotive to avoid missing the fleet number.

The last shot of the trip -here we see DB Bahn locomotive 101088 at Bischoshofen on the morning of the 27/2/22 working EC218 from Graz to Stuttgart.

Unfortunately on the day in question, it was time to go home and this engine took me for part of the journey which was from Bischoshofen to Stuttgart.

Italo Pendolino ETR 675.005 passes through Mezzocorona on the afternoon of the 23/10/19 heading towards Trento with a unidentifiable service.

Preserved crocodile locomotive 1020.018 was photographed working a Sonderzug (special train) from Spittal to Mallnitz on the afternoon of the 28/8/16 which was taken on the outskirts of Oberfalkenstein, Austria at an official photo stop :-) lucky with the weather on the day in question.

First time of trying this shot in Crawford - here we see DRS locomotive 88010 heading north through Crawford on the WCML with 4S43 from Daventry to Mossend on the afternoon of the 25/9/20.

** Please note that this shot was only possible for this time of day due to the dull conditions - the sun would normally be on the other side of the railway if it was out playing.

A new spot for lineside photography,. Here we see MGB HGe4/4 locomotive no.1 working the 11:14 service from Disentis/Muster to Andermatt on the morning of the 28/12/22.

At the time of posting, I was reliably informed that this locomotive is expected to be overhauled and re-numbered to 109.

Here we see RTC locomotive 189902 (front) and Lokomotion 189917 (rear) pass through a wintery cold St Jodok on the 16/2/22 with a loaded intermodal bound for Brenner and beyond.

Up at 04:20 to capture this working, which was only the 2nd time of trying this spot and for the same reason too.

Here we see DB Cargo locomotive 90024 in Malcom Logistics livery heading north through Kirkham & Wesham on the Blackpool North Line working the late running 08:13 UK Railtours charter (1Z90) from London Euston to Blackpool North on the bitterly cold afternoon of the 27/11/21.

Please note 90036 was dead on the rear of the consist.

Classic afternoon shot from Wassen - here we see DB Cargo Traxx locomotives 185134 (front), 185085 (middle) and 1851xx (rear) pass through Wassen on the middle section of the route heading towards Erstfeld on the afternoon of the 24/6/16.

Rail Traction Group in "Zebra" livery no.186284 was photographed on the outskirts of Lavis in Italy on the evening of the 5/5/17 with an intermodal freight train heading south.
