The Tri-X just adds that bit of grit to the look.
A row of Grade II listed Georgian town houses, buildings shown on the site on the 5 feet to one mile OS map surveyed in 1845 differ in shape from the present houses, suggesting that they were built shortly after that
date.
Steadier hand and stopped down to about f16. Some fiddling with sliders in LightRoom ti up contrast a bit.
Focus is on the closest branch of the plant. No problem shooting at f1.1 - O think it ended up going to 1/60s! Truly gloomy weather.

Memories of the Kutná Hora veteran rallye.
Shot on Foma 100 film with Bronica ETRSi camera and Macro Zenzanon 100 lens. Developed in Pyrocat HD for 12 minutes at 20°C.
On purpose I left the last couple of frames "on wiped". There was an amazing amount of dust stuck to the static cling of the film. Looks like an old pre 1900 negative!
Kate, one of the workers at SNO, holds out a transplant. I forget which vegetable it is, but I'm sure it's in my notes somewhere.

Photographed December 2017 / Ricoh 500 rangefinder film camera with RIKEN 4.5cm/2.8 lens. Film was Rollei RPX 400 bulk stock metered ASA 320 developed in PYROCAT-HD (5ml A + 25ml B > 600ml, 7min @ 20*C). Negative was digitalised via a Pentax k3 DSLR with Schneider Componon-S 80mm/4 enlarging lens on helicoid extension tubes. Negative image was uploaded to an iPad mini and edited on the iPad screen with the Snap Seed application: the ‘curves’ facility of the app was used to convert the negative image to a positive. Full Frame scan without any cropping.

Inside Granville Island Market. Terra makes some good bread - though sometimes the crust is a bit tough.
Good almond croissants though - essential tool for film testing.
About a 50% crop just to see. I love the fine nuance of the stiffness, "slightly", not very or a little not very just slightly but enough for a sign.

We have a stretch of sunshine at the moment and frequent walks around the beaches. Winter sun is rather brutal - but gives interesting shadows.

The Color Skopar 35f2.5 has a remarkable lack of vignetting. Even stopped down to somewhere around f16 as here.
The good thing is that all the versions of the CS 35f2.5 share the same optical formula - only the "packaging" is different.
The Heliar 75mm f1.8 is designed to give slightly lower contrast at f1.8. It is a very subtle change and by f2.8 it is fully "modern". resolution is still high. It works out as very good portrait lens at f1.8.

I am definitely liking this format but composition is proving a little challenging, as this image shows. FP4 in Pyrocat
Here I wanted a very graphic effect with real deep blacks and accentuated grain, so my choice went to MGIV in SE5. This paper doesn't really lith (except when used with a 2nd pass lith) but after adding a generous amount of "E", the result is a huge contrast with pure BW and an exploding grainy texture.

sent me this Nikon F kit. Contains a lot of small pieces - but it will become a Nikon F in the end. Good for dark and rainy evenings.
The M-Yltron will focus close and well.
The short stump of Robson, behind the Art Gallery, is being redeveloped as a"people" area. It was done before for a couple of month every summer, but now it will be a permanent situation.
Nice idea if it is done right, seating, rain shelters, food truck access etc.
