The Center for Fire Prevention Propaganda and Public Relations of the State Fire Service is a fire-technical exhibition of the State Institution of the Voronezh Region Civil Defense, Population Protection and Fire Safety of the Voronezh Region.
The Voronezh Permanent Fire-Technical Insert was established in April 1968 (Order of the UPO UOP HE dated April 12, 1968 No 38) on the basis of the garrison educational and methodological room, which was located on the second floor in the building of the SVPCH-3 (currently - PSCh No 1 for the protection of the Central District of the Federal State Institution "1 OFPS in the Voronezh Region", located at the address: 394043, Voronezh, Lenin Street, 79), built in 1939. The first head was appointed Dmitry Pavlovich Zamyatin.
The official opening date of the exhibition is July 30, 1968.
At present, on the basis of the fire-technical insert, the Center for Fire Prevention Propaganda and Public Relations of the State Fire Service has been created - a fire-technical exhibition of the State Institution of the Voronezh Region Civil Defense, Protection of the Population and Fire Safety of the Voronezh Region (hereinafter referred to as the Center).
The exposition of the Center consists of 3 exhibition halls and a cinema hall for 86 seats.
Three exhibition halls house 3 working dioramas, 14 working models and 14 stands.
The total area of the exposition is more than 500 sq. m. The center annually receives from 12 to 14 thousand visitors.
In 1996, the exhibition received its 500,000th visitor, and in July 2013 it welcomed its 800,000th visitor. As of July 1, 2018, the exhibition was visited by 869,923 people.
The main visitors of the Center are students of secondary schools, secondary specialized and higher educational institutions. The Center pays special attention to teaching fire safety rules to people with disabilities living in nursing homes, specialized institutions, boarding schools, orphanages, and social assistance centers.
The building in which the Center is located was built in 1939, where the fire station was always located on the 1st floor.
The dioramas and models of the exhibition were created in 1980 by 26 Honored Artists of Voronezh and represent various social facilities of the city. Stained-glass windows are made by artists by hand.
A convoy of protection forces from the United Nations Mission in South Sudan, together with members of the Ceasefire Transitional Security Arrangement Monitoring Mechanism (CTSAMM) visited the incident location where six aid workers were killed at the weekend, approximately 53km outside the Capital Juba.
The integrated team, representing UNMISS Human Rights, JMEC, and CTSAMM were met by local security forces of the Anti-Poaching Unit at Bandigilo National Park road Junction. They were taken directly to the scene where the ambush took place killing six humanitarian workers. The victims included three South Sudanese and three Kenyans working for a national non-governmental organization.
In the past two months there has been a sharp increase of attacks on aid workers and their premises mirroring a rapid deterioration in the security and economic situation of the country. The ambush took place on the Juba-Pibor road approximately 3.4km from Badingilo National Park and brings the total of 80 aid workers killed in South Sudan since the December 2013 crisis.

Fred Phelps and his family of angry picketers are a very easy group to hate. They protest outside funerals of soldiers, claiming they are the reason this country is so tolerable towards homosexuality, abortion, and many others things. I would love to see these people arrested and prosecuted by any means necessary. However, their protests are protected under the First Amendment and Supreme Court precedent.
We can talk about the most obvious one first: freedom of speech. The First Amendment states, “Congress shall make no law … abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”...Christine Benjamin
