1/11/22 - Ringwood, Illinois

Fire officials say a large barn became engulfed in flames at the scene of a four-alarm fire at a dairy farm in Ringwood Tuesday evening.

The McHenry Township Fire Protection District responded around 9 p.m. Tuesday to the 6000 block of Barnard Mill Road in Ringwood.

McHenry Township Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Mike Majercik said crews received a report of a fire in a barn at C&S Dairy Farms.

Firefighters arrived to find flames from a large storage barn approximately 65 feet by 150 feet in size.

Crews began an aggressive attack on the fire, Majercik said.

Assistance was requested from several surrounding fire departments through the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS).

There were no fire hydrants in the area so water had to be brought in using water tenders, Majercik said.

The incident was upgraded to a fourth-alarm assignment through MABAS.

Majercik said the fire was at an operational dairy farm and livestock had to be transported away from the scene using transport trailers during the incident.

It is unknown if any cows died in the fire. There were no injuries to firefighters.

Firefighters from the Richmond, Spring Grove, Wonder Lake, Fox Lake, Crystal Lake, Wauconda, Woodstock, Fox River Grove, Hebron, Harvard, Marengo, Cary, Huntley, Nunda, Lake Villa, Antioch and Union fire departments responded to the scene.

Firefighters from Twin Lakes and Bloomfield, Wisconsin also responded to assist with the fire.

The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office closed Barnard Mill Road between Ridgeway Road and Inmans Way for several hours during the fire.

I think this is almost joke. It says these seals will protect your computers and mobile phones from a computer virus. I think It will become popular among businessmen.
