Sustained Investigation: Powerful things in society.
Materials: A street with yellow lines and cars.
Idea: The concept behind this photo is that something as small as a little yellow line is the only protection you have from other cars and that the little yellow line has the power to make people listen to it because that's what everyone was taught. I interpreted the SI as something that is so small and should have no power has the power to protect you from dying
Process: I took this photo by running into the middle of the street and taking the photo. The materials relate to the idea because the idea is about small things that shouldn't have power but do, and the example of that in this photo is the yellow line that protects drivers.

The Briton’s Protection is one of the oldest pubs in the city centre. Dating back to 1806, it is said to have been ‘used as a refuge by folk escaping the attentions of recruiters for the Napoleonic Wars’ - hence its moniker. Folklore also suggests the name has connotations with the Peterloo Massacre of 1819, when 18 people were killed and hundreds were injured by soldiers who stormed a peaceful protest.
