EDM prompt #3 is "draw a bag or a purse"
I've always said that I'm not a "bags and shoes" kind of girl, but I love my Converse and my Vans, and I LOVE this Animal satchel :)
(this is yesterday's ICAD, I haven't done today's yet, I'd better get on with it!)
This pic is just a place holder, to remind me to do a series on the historic stadium which preceded this one. A news story prompts this.

Kansas City's old stadium was a 22nd and Brooklyn, just south of I-70 (well, of course, even before there was an I-70) and had several different names, during its life. Rupert Stadium, Blues Stadium, Muehelbach Stadium, Municipal Stadium. (Not necessarily in that order)
It was renovated in spring 1955, adding a second tier of seating. But by 1967, the voters had approved bond issues to build the Truman Sports Complex, a twin-stadium venue, encompassing Royals Stadium (now named Kauffman, or "The K") and Arrowhead Stadium.
Here are links to pics of the old stadium.

I have not been in the Royals clubhouse, but I bet it's a bit fancier than this:

Current view, from bing.com, looking north. There are some new homes on the property now, and streets such as Garfield and 21st Street now go thru, whereas they had not before, of course.
I hate it when my cameras have the file extensions in caps. Good 'ol Command Prompt allows you to change them all in seconds, handy when you have 100s of photos to change.
Olivia borrowed a friend's hands holding an umbrella in the grotty rain for her photo prompt.

Lots of Adam when he was little and smiled a lot. See the joy on his face as he hugs a big bottle of Hock?

here's the logo for my etsy shop called "making this home". I like to make writing prompt journals, and the rhubarb red cover of this one just really catches my attention.
So...I to meet the food prompt...I tried a new "recipe". My background "paper" is a photo I took of the bubbles through my window at the car wash. I used it to overlay the photo and as a background paper. It is a new experiment for me and I think it worked. The journaling is about Walker's hair and how it works with his artistic side...as well as his computer world. His sense of fun was what I tried to capture.
I left mum's camera on a train but she's got a new one now so I've had a bit of catching up to do with the photo prompts. This one is Double.

I wrote these words because they all represent things people see or feel when they see a good picture.

Olivia's "Treat" was me cutting up an old patchwork print duvet, into squares so that Olivia can do her own patchwok cushion covers.

For my Craft of Fiction class, we have to write in the point of view of either one of these characters. However, I have to in the opposite sex -- so from the man's POV. OR, I can write as if I'm "a fly on the wall" (third person). Oy.
Also, I must only write whatever in 250-300 words.
I don't know what the real story behind this photo is. The man looks kinda like James Dean though. Anyone familiar with this photograph?
