'Feel my weight in front,
Following the sound,
Moves away so fast,
Fall down to the ground.
I know there's more to come,
Jump back to my feet,
Now I only see ahead of me,
Chasing down the street.
Gave my love to a shooting star,
But she moves so fast,
That I can't keep up,
I'm chasing.
I'm in love with a shooting star,
But she moves so fast.
When she falls then,
I'll be waiting.'

“White contains a balance of all colors in the spectrum, representing both the positive and negative aspects of all colors. Given it’s properties and undeniable associations with purity, white tends to amplify and reflect other colors and textures in it’s path."

“I will hurt you for this. I don't know how yet, but give me time. A day will come when you think yourself safe and happy, and suddenly your joy will turn to ashes in your mouth, and you'll know the debt is paid.”

Prompted by seeing a recent photograph of a Capuchin Monkey at Mato Grosso, Brazil, I decided to post some further images of my own encounter with these monkeys which are particularly gifted in their use of tools.
Capuchin Monkeys were given their name in the 15th century when Portugese explorers encountered them in the Americas and thougt their colouring and 'caps' of dark hair resembled the brown hoods worn by friars of Minor Capuchin.
Thank you all for your kind responses.

“Antarctica has this mythic weight. It resides in the collective unconscious of so many people, and it makes this huge impact, just like outer space. It's like going to the moon.”

“Corporate secrets bouncing around a computer system thats open to the world? Hey, that’s fair game and they deserve the embarrassment of its discovery. But using this knowledge to line your pockets or, worse, using insider knowledge to get the information and then calling that hacking is an affront to any of us who hack for the sake of learning.”

#DoodlewashJune2023 prompt: Ducks
Did you know two days before ducklings coordinate the time of their hatching by pipping — vocalizations that they can all hear?
This was frustrating because there was something on the paper, you can see the white streaks still left up top, and I kept trying to make it work anyway. Painted last month, I had intended to just toss it and then I saw the prompt and figured what the heck. It was meant to be shared.

Did you know the lighter a tortoise's shell, the warmer the country of its origin. The lightest known shade means the tortoise originates from the southern part of the Sahara Desert.
