March 8, 2016 -- Totally off-prompt, but I was short on time today. Plus, it was another gorgeous day which meant the first outdoor bike ride of the season! In a sleeveless jersey in March! So we took the obligatory bike selfie and that's all I've got.
This is the final front label for prompt. I kept the design simple, and didn't overuse text or make it too extravagant. Lissitzky's "Beat the Whites with the Red Wedge" is where I got my influence. The artwork is fairly simple and uses geometric shapes in reds, whites and black colors. The name, Prompt comes from the idea of propaganda. I was thinking of words that related to propaganda and thought of words like convince, persuade, prompt, hype, and others. In the end i narrowed it down to hype and prompt, and then finally decided on prompt. The winery is in Russia since that is where Lissitzky is from. I researched Russian wine, and it turns out it isn't of the greatest quality, so I guess the bottle of wine wouldn't be too expensive.

Journal Info- In this prompt, we were given the freedom to shoot and capture whatever we wanted, but we should document the light, setting, focus, and composition while explaining what we did and why we did it. This is the unedited version to it's pair, I decided to snap this picture of my cat, bear as he was chilling on the floor. I don't think I have any pictures of him at this cool angle, I thought it added a lot of emotion to the picture compared to just a face-on shot. I thought the shadows offered some creativity, along with the leading lines all over his body.
