The project is developed using various pre-set text-to-image models, processing text prompt inputs. On the borderline between sensitive content and an easy slip into topics of violence, this project visualizes the depths of the subconscious of these models, excavating the influences of media and online information exchange. The quantified traces of reality and collective histories allow algorithms to generate content that recycles the past - building the spine of quasi-historical narratives - often obfuscated with prejudice and misinformation, along with the author’s personal bias. Generated outputs are presented inside a hypertext object – a tent that the audience can enter, as it were.

Prompt Option 3: Motion/Emotion
The emotion I tried to show was one of anxiety over a conflict of identity. The feeling of losing yourself and trying to find where you are going
about a month ago there was a fun day called "pARTy on the drive". A main drive was closed down and used to showcase local artists. I was particularly drawn to this woman who was creating her own glass beads. It was mezmerizing to see how she took a rod of glass and created different sizes and shapes of beads. She was even making beads in shapes that audience members asked her to do. This one ended up being a little fish. Of course, I bought one of her larger pieces -- a gorgeous pendant.
Envelope addressed to: Mrs D. E. Mates, Hopeton Street, Campberwell, Victoria

Dear Mrs Mates
It is with a mixed feeling of sorrow and pride that prompts me to write these few lines, offering on behalf of the platoon your late husband was attached to, our sincerest sympathy on the death by being “killed in action” of your beloved husband.
It was a sad scene to see the pride of Australia, all trained up to fighting pitch, suddenly wrestled out of this world. Our losses were heavy, but it is a little consolation to know that the enemy’s losses were greater. It was during an attack on the German’s lines that your gallant husband so nobly died. The ground to be covered was being shelled by all sizes of shells and machine guns, but the lads never faltered. Over the parapet in three lines they went, like on parade. Many fell, but the others kept moving forward and captured the position. I did not see your husband fall, but a few minutes before the charge, I was speaking to him and he was cheerful and full of confidence. The boys tell me he was killed instantly and suffered no pain.
His body was brought in and buried beside others of the same Company, in a cemetery about 800 yards from the trench where he fell. He died for his country. But Madam, knowing how you will feel the loss of your betrothed protector through life, I once again offer you my heartfelt sympathy in this time of grief and sorrow. My address if you should require any further information is: 351 Sergt R Thompson, B. Coy, 31st Battn, A.I.F.
Trusting God will guide and protect you.
I am
On behalf of his pals,
R Thompson

DALL-E 2024 prompt:
The scene is set in a 16:9 widescreen format, within an atelier in an old, worn-down building. A white robot painter is in the center of the room, actively painting one of the younger models on a canvas. The models are standing along the right wall, both with long, messy black hair and worn clothes. This widescreen image captures both the models in the background and the white robot painter in the foreground, emphasizing the contrast between the rustic human element and the sleek mechanical nature of the robot. Atmospheric lighting highlights the textures of the old building and the subjects.
Prompt #15 is all about writing on your photos, pretty much any way you want. It can be with marker, paint(thats what I did) Thickers, stamps..........you get the idea.
This is my piece, and it has an up close Polaroid of some tree bark in Central Park NY. The background was an experiment using pieces of patterned paper(had fun doing that) and the quote reads:
"Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better."
We have a great guest designer and great prize this round. So go and check it out.

The city decided to spread the fireworks around to the neighborhoods. There were four displays at four different locations. This photo was taken near NOMA in City Park. The show was scheduled for 9:30 PM (on the last day of 2018) and began very promptly!

outdoor rock fireplace -- top one is using line work to define texture and shapes; bottom is less line work and uses color to inform textures. Even though i think the top one looks more defined and crisp, I enjoy the feeling of looseness and implying the textures more than trying to really be specific about them. Im learning who I am as an artist :-)
Prompt #18 from Janel of "Run with Scissors" Journal prompts
Journal Prompt 18: Music is one of my most favorite things ever!! It translates emotions that I can't even imagine putting into words. I love it. Today I want you to create a playlist of some kind. It can be your summer playlist, your July playlist, songs from your wedding day, or favorite songs of all time :) This one will be another fun one to look at down the road :)
This is some of my favorite songs on my summer playlist. :)
2010-05-25, acrylic and collage in my Art Journal. Inspired by Jeannine's class Mining the metaphor and the prompt "Map your heart".
Prompt #23 was a free choice page. Janel did a page similar to this and I was so inspired, I decided to do one too. I traced around Michael and my hands, cut them out and glued them on the page. I totally tried to do the same thing with the cats - and umm, that was less than successful - ha. You should of seen me following them around with a piece of patterned paper, trying to get ahold of a foot. They were not having any of that. In the end, I settled for cutting their paws out of a photograph...
