Erwin Perzy I used a shoemakers magnifying glass — a glass globe filled with water— and added different reflective materials (including semolina) that might increase the illumination. His idea didn’t work to improve lighting, but then he had to idea to add one of the miniature pewter churches he made to sell as trinkets, along with the semolina. The glass snow globe was born!

8—I’m feeling...
I’m feeling like a plant trying to grow up through a crack in the sidewalk during the middle of a storm. Growing through concrete is extremely painful and difficult, and people can step on plants growing in the sidewalk. The storm is scary, terrifying, cold, uncomfortable and the rain it brings provides nourishment to grow.

Awesome prompt today because in the nearly 16 years I have been scrapping, I have NEVER done any layouts about my childhood. I just don't have very many photos- so I am over the moon to have this layout done.
I used Ali Edwards stamps for the title, Crate Paper for the embellishments, Glitz for the washi, Tim Holtz for the clips and MME for the papers and brads/dots. I used all 6x6 papers for this layout-so fun!
I am taking this prompt further and creating a Right page to journal about each on of these childhood events.
