I drew this for a prompt series that a streamer I watch was having. The prompt was Clown, and I wanted to take part in the series.

My f stop was at 5.6, my iso was at 200, and my shutter speed was at 1/8. I tried getting one person to stand still while other people walked around him. i like the effect it made with the moving people being blurry but the main focus being the person standing still. The image looks very cool to me.

In case you get so maggoted* that you forget where you are.

Writing prompts for the #stillweb

Today's photo prompt word is can so this is mum's froggy watering can!

The prompt for last week in the @united_artists_collective was acceptance. I learned a lot about the topic earlier this month when a huge oak tree with a triple trunk fell on our house. These are my journal pages about it. Swipe to see some photos I took that morning. Thankfully the tree experts came and removed it and the mess is mostly cleaned up. We haven't started repairing the house yet, but the interior damage was minimal. Our biggest loss so far was our chimney. No wood heat for the rest of the winter. Thankfully we have propane backup heat. We had planned to have this tree taken down this summer.

This was the second tree to fall on our house in less than a month. The first one hit the other side of the house on Jan. 9. There was less damage with that one. Yes, I have learned a lot about acceptance this year. This was a hard spread to write and a hard one to share. *copied from Instagram

Okay, so here it is. Prompt no.2. I really had fun doing it and I hope you like it!

U.S. Army Col. Tannis Mittelbach, Director of Logistics for the Oregon National Guard, holds an audio speaker playing a message from Roger Rosenberry, a retired Air Force Lt. Col., from her mobile device during Shelbie McQueen’s award ceremony on Dec. 3, 2025, in Camas, Washington. Rosenberry had fallen from a 20-foot ladder on Sept. 9, and Shelbie was the one who alerted her parents and called 911, ensuring emergency services were dispatched promptly. McQueen was receiving an Outstanding Heroism Award at her school, Woodburn Elementary, and was recognized for her remarkable bravery and quick response in helping two community members in distress, first on Sept. 9 and again on Sept. 12, by alerting emergency responders. I am participating in Folded Word's writing month event, called "24/7," during August. Participants spend the first 24 days of the month writing short works, then spend the final week in revisions. The second part of this entry gives more details.

I'm not required to give a central theme to the entries, but I chose the theme "Divinations" and am using a pair of dice to generate prompts. My prompt for August 16 is to write write divination-themed micro-fiction that uses birth. You can read the piece here.

Okay... this is it. Prompt no.3. I wrote to my mom. Why? The reasons are just there. If you read, you`ll find out.

This photo was shot in Ireland in 2003. Eric and I visited my brother's wedding and made a roundtrip through Kerry and Dingle. I still have very fond memories of Ireland and think this photo is perfect for 'passages'.
