I never seem to have a long enough lens to get a good picture of the ducks in our neighborhood pond. I'll also have to go back tomorrow with some gloves and a trash bag...people are slobs.
After a thorough cleaning of everything and adding some pre-cycled water...my daughter has a new tenant.

I think it is starting to work..... I am starting to see things that I pass everyday now as potential pictures! This picture was taken standing on a chair on a third floor mezzanine about 60 feet above a concrete floor down a bank of skylights with funky orange round lamps hanging down.

wearing rubber shoes or in Lim's case, slippers instead of leather/duty shoes. It's because after the duty we went to cafe shang to have an "after-a-month's-duty chill time".
and we did not wore our school uniform on our way to the hospital..haha badass!
This is a flower from a tree that hangs straight down. I got on the ground below the flower to take this picture. I like that you can see the sky and trees behind it in the lower right-hand corner.

I saw this cruise ship today as I crossed the Forth Bridge on my way home. I would have got a better angle on her from Dalgety Bay, but was too late for that and so I went into South Queensferry and got this picture instead. She is on day three of a nine night cruise, and was visiting South Queensferry from 0900 to 1800 today. What a shame it was rather dreich this afternoon.
We've had some pretty good sun recently - which is a little surprising as for the last 3-4 months it's been grey and cold.
Day 56: I have been wanting to take a picture of some of my trophies i've collected in my youth, playing soccer, baseball, and most importantly hockey. In the foreground is a trophy from a hockey tourney and in the background is my high school letter for hockey from my senior year
So the local pizza place decided to book a free show for some bands around the Myrtle Beach area. Despite it being a small venue, it turned out to be a huge success. Hey Dude was the headliner, and they sure know how to put on a fun show. I had a great time hanging out with my friends and making a lot of new ones. I hope that more shows will be booked there!
Well the title says it all really.
My Dad passed away 30 years ago, but when he was alive, he was quite passionate about whatever would appear in the newspaper, and he wrote MANY letters to the Editors etc, about subjects he felt very strongly about. I think he would've loved our modern day Forums :-)
Anyways, he started this scrap book on 1/1/1950, and it has newspaper clippings etc from the late 40's through to the early 50's, plus things in it like petrol rationing vouchers, that sort of thing. So it does make a very interesting read.
Tomorrow, I'll include some photos in my P365 album, of a couple of "inside the Scrap Book" shots. More to be revealed......
