Day 189: Walking around today i found this unused bricks. I didnt get a picture of the Acme Brick logos, but you'll just have to trust that they are from Acme.
Are we going up or down? Looks like Domo has chosen down. My daughter wanted in the picture too, perhaps rushing Domo into a decision.
My office gets lots of organic fruit delivered every Monday. I don't really like fruit, but today when I was eating because I was bored, not hungry, I decided to have a few grapes.
I was warm and cozy in bed...just about to fall asleep when it hit me. I didn't take a picture today! Yikes, I got out of bed for this one.
This is a basket made of grasses and reeds and goat leathers that I bought from a girl that emigrated here from Alaska. I use it when I do the farmer's market (that was where I bought it.) I think those are natural dyes, even though the colors look weirdly bright - all the others were. they are a little brighter with the flash, but not a lot in real life. it sits under my TV and it holds a ton of stuff. i love it. it only cost a song (comparatively - 25 dollars) and it makes me ridiculously happy.
It's Patrick Murphy, lead singer of Gaelic Storm, in our living room! OK, not really, but Gaelic Storm's St. Patrick's Day concert in Milwaukee at the Riverside Theater was broadcast live on ASX Live. DirecTV carries their content on Channel 340 so we were able to watch the show.
I was at the first concert in this tour a few weeks ago, and the set list was a bit different. Not sure if it varies that much from night to night or if this was a special list for the broadcast.

243/365 Saturday 31 August 2013 - The parent flew just before I took this shot. It was like the babies were giving it a cuddle as it had been in the middle and these two siddled up to it and put their wings out round it. My own Mum and I went into Oxford this am. Just to get a few essentials. Only my third trip this year. I wasn't tempted by much.
Day 360 - Simultaneous renovations of the office and the kitchen. In my eyes it meant that we wouldn't have to clean the house twice. Jade didn't quite see it the same way and wondered if we'd be better holding off on the office.
Throwing caution to the wind I started taking apart the office and installing track lighting and you can already see the chair rail that I finished installing today.
Very cloudy all day but the sun finally appeared for the last hour so I could take a photo of this substation for today's Project365 pic.
To the drivers passing.. no.. I wasn't planning a spot of domestic terrorism.
Nearly decided to go b&w but since there was some sun, kept it as colour.
Today's Project365 pic is in honour of the first day of Winter. This is the ice crystals on the roof of my car.
It got down to -2.7°C last night, so even when I went to work, it was below zero.
It was cold enough to need two buckets of water to defrost the windows.
