One of the beauty of life is when we can stop and listen to the sound of silence. When I do this, all I hear in my mind is this song from LP: "... All I want to do is trade this life for something new...holding on to what I haven't got..."

I hope you like this song too! :D

"Waiting For The End"

[Mike:]

This is not the end, this is not the beginning

Just a voice like a riot rocking every revision

But you listen to the tone and the violent rhythm

Though the words sound steady something empty's within them

We say yeah with fists flying up in the air

Like we're holding onto something that's invisible there

Cause we're living at the mercy of the pain and the fear

Until we dead it, forget it, let it all disappear

[Chester:]

Waiting for the end to come

Wishing I had strength to stand

This is not what I had planned

It's out of my control

Flying at the speed of light

Thoughts were spinning in my head

So many things were left unsaid

It's hard to let you go

I know what it takes to move on

I know how it feels to lie

All I want to do

Is trade this life for something new

Holding on to what I haven't got

Sitting in an empty room

Trying to forget the past

This was never meant to last

I wish it wasn't so

I know what it takes to move on

I know how it feels to lie

All I want to do

Is trade this life for something new

Holding on to what I haven't got

[Mike:]

What was left when that fire was gone

I thought it felt right but that right was wrong

All caught up in the eye of the storm

And trying to figure out what it's like moving on

And I don't even know what kind of things I said

My mouth kept moving and my mind went dead

So I'm picking up the pieces, now where to begin

The hardest part of ending is starting again

[Chester(till end):]

All I want to do

Is trade this life for something new

Holding on to what I haven't got

I'm holding on to what I haven't got

I'm holding on to what I haven't got

Until we dead it, forget it let it all disappear

Brilliant, we should all read this!

On the Southbank. I think these are the boxes they store books in for the weekend market. Apologies for slightly gratuitous bokeh.G1 + Voigtlander ... Posted via email from Musings + Project 365

This little fella managed to pull over the table he was tied to outside a cafe. He was playing with another dog and enjoying himself (herself?). The other dog ran away at this point so I think they were wondering if they were going to get some more playful action. It's just after I righted the table so he didn't get away (my good sammy dead for the day) and just before the owner wandered out wondering why I was hanging out with their dog.

I made more muffins ^_^ And look, on time photo!

EDIT: Crap, just noticed I had my ISO way up.... #rookiemistake

EDITEDIT: At least it looks kinda like film Grain...

I am doggy sitting my sister's dog this weekend and I managed to capture him yawning. It was a real big yawn. He loves his bed. And this is where he usually sleeps. Dogs are pretty fun.

I went on a walk in Golden Gate Park today. Near Stowe Lake I noticed two squirrels that seemed really brave. I help my hand out to them and this one actually put his two front feet in my hand and was sniffing it. Unfortunately when I reached into my pocket for my camera he backed off a little. I wish my hand weren't so blown out in this picture, but it was still too cool to not use as today's picture.

Sean's stimming sofa.

He kind of killed it.

If you take off the cushions, you can see the springs underneath.

We spend Xmas eve playing board games with my in-laws. This year we brought our Wii and it worked in England. This is a picture of my nephew with the Mii that his Uncle A made of him. It looks like him doesn't it?

Project365: 2011 - Day 05

1am, another night at my desk. I know that tomorrow is going to be hectic (today technically) so I snapped a couple quick shots and ended up liking this one.

It looks like I'm in deep thought, even though I'm not because I'm doing mindless work right now. I do however like being up at this time of night, so it works for me :)

Day 1 of my 365 project! Today's my birthday (8/16), so the project will run for the entire 23rd year of my life :)

Taken on my family vacation: ocean city beach.

King cake for Fat Tuesday!

Youth... Ahhh to be young, this is Mykal, Sarah's nephew... we spent Easter Sunday with him letting him run around the backyard having his own personal Easter egg hunt... Happy Easter Everyone...
