I chose not to consider the weather an omen. (Apparently, winter this year is supposed to be warm. That's going to mean a lot of rain, so I'd better get used to it.)
Project365 - #21
Fresh prawns and spinach, two of the ingredients for tonights dinner. If I remember I'll take a shot of the finished product.
Day 217. Even though it has snowed here the past 2 days I'm thinking Spring has to be coming soon, right?

No sir. Definitely. I'm not getting Lazy. I'm definitely _not_ just snapping pics of my dog on the bed in the morning with my phone before I get up. Oh no. I'd never do _that_ kind of thing. Not me. No. Never.
My office gets lots of organic fruit delivered every Monday. I don't really like fruit, but today when I was eating because I was bored, not hungry, I decided to have a few grapes.
This mural, by artist Wiley, caught my eye on the way home today. Upon further googling, I learned there are 3 "Give" murals in Houston. The murals encourage us to take a moment to reflect on ways WE can commit to making OUR local communities a BETTER place to live. #GIVEHOU
Today's Project 365 pic is of the cake my niece made for my Mum's Birthday.
Mum's Birthday is actually tomorrow, but the folks are going on a road trip, so we had the celebrations today.
My niece didn't like the taste of the little love hearts on the cake, but they tasted just like Cherry Pez, so I didn't mind them at all.
Happy Birthday Tomorrow Mum!
Last days' oppressive heat puts extra demands on the newly sown grass. The sprinkler system goes on several times a day; this one taken in the evening sun.
I was mentioning to M the other day that I feel as though I've really lost my passion for the 365 project. With wedding planning and work, I just don't feel as though my heart has been in it. I told him I had every intention of finishing it, but I just don't feel the same inspiration I used to feel. His response was that I felt that way because I've just been "taking" pictures and not "making" pictures lately. He gave me a bunch of ideas for things to experiment with, things that might restore the sense of fun I used to have with the project. He keeps trying to get me to throw my camera in the air and see what it captures. No way! Not until I'm done with the 365. However, he mentioned possibly swinging my camera around and seeing what I came up with. So here you go. For the first time in weeks, I took tons and tons of pictures as I swung my camera over Christmas lights. Lots of fun and totally random. I've posted some of my favorites.

I was warm and cozy in bed...just about to fall asleep when it hit me. I didn't take a picture today! Yikes, I got out of bed for this one.
"Beetle & the hive" - B&W theme for project365.
Who would fall in love with the Volkswagen Beetle. For I love the curves. It is so sexy.
