The Blue WIndow

Ref: Ref: D1715-5340

Todays Project 365 is the screenshot I took of my name up in lights on the side of the Australian Museum as part of the Sydney Festival.

From the website:

Your Name in Lights reflects the changing cult of celebrity in modern society and recalls Andy Warhol's prediction that in the future everyone will have their 15 minutes of fame. Drawing on imagery from Broadway theatre displays and Hollywood films, this ambitious new work will involve more than 100,000 participants.

And it looked like it had such potential as a poached egg for breakfast :(

I figured I can use this in my computer chair, and it not only acts as a nice blanky, but I can bunch it up under me and have a nice cushion!!

#project365 day129

Wired and productive after an exhausting morning dentist appointment. The afternoon was nice and so, my day was balanced once again. :-)

Two new bins were delivered today, I'm really excited at the prospect of being able to recycle garden waste, food scraps, cardboard, plastic bags... it's fantastic! (My husband is a little worried!)

Day 47: we went to Wegman's for lunch today and one of the chefs was checking on some soups and I noticed he had a hole in his hat. Normally there is a star there.

Apple tree ornament!

I love this pretty brooch. And now that it is becoming winter I'd like to try to find ways to wear it.

Everything will be ALL RIGHT!!

My ever alert collie was grabbing some fussing time with my wife on the settee and looking very chilled and relaxed so I thought I'd grab a quick shot of him for today's picture.

My dog never paid any interest at all in my son, in fact he doesn't really interact with him a lot even now he's 5. He does like playing fetch with my daughter though and it's quite funny watching her throwing things for him as she gives him a little round applause and a cheer every time he brings the ball back for her.

I kind of feel like a lost boat sometimes.

especially a lost boat entirely on the wrong type of terrain.

maybe someone can send a portage

or at least a tow truck.

(this boat was given to me by a great aunt of mine (a great aunt who is also at least a great-great-aunt) upon leaving what was my first trip to England. She said it was to remind me that England was an island. I think it was meant as something a little more prosaic than that sounds at first. it's made of horn and it's all kinds of shades of brown; it makes me very happy.)

This little fella managed to pull over the table he was tied to outside a cafe. He was playing with another dog and enjoying himself (herself?). The other dog ran away at this point so I think they were wondering if they were going to get some more playful action. It's just after I righted the table so he didn't get away (my good sammy dead for the day) and just before the owner wandered out wondering why I was hanging out with their dog.

Day 61, project365 ~ Just returned from the Philippines

Classe à l'extérieur

(May 17th)

294/365 Wednesday 21 October 2015 - Elephants on my Fat Face PJ sale shorts. Yes, I'm scraping the bottom of the pictorial barrel. However, it was only got home from Book Group and was getting into bed I realised that I'd not taken a single snap today . Today was a rubbish day. It's horrid to do a really stressful task and get through it only to be criticised for doing it. Thankfully I had book group and the company of some lovely ladies to distract me from it in the evening.

I partially tore my achilles last August and have been wearing this boot since November. I figured I'd backlight it and work on a pastel setting. The exposure setting was what I wanted but I didn't get the colours right, yet.

03-02-12 What a pretty old grate of some sort. #Project365

My new checks came today. Paisley print!

Domo has 4 of a kind FTW! The others sit in stunned silence.

Project365 Day 69: I'm pretty sure this isn't from dust in my camera.

I went on a walk in Golden Gate Park today. Near Stowe Lake I noticed two squirrels that seemed really brave. I help my hand out to them and this one actually put his two front feet in my hand and was sniffing it. Unfortunately when I reached into my pocket for my camera he backed off a little. I wish my hand weren't so blown out in this picture, but it was still too cool to not use as today's picture.

I won this hand at my family Christmas gift exchange. It's about time I use it.

Feeling a little better about greyscale.

10/10/09 - He's such a comedian.
