Today I drove to Daylesford for about 20 minutes of work. Thought I'd better grab a pic of some of the fantastic architecture there, before I came back to Ballarat.
Just wish I had brought my EOS with me instead of using the iPhone, I could have got a better shot of the Daylesford Hotel's balcony.
79/365 Thursday 20 March 2014 - Went to bed early but felt too tired and rubbish to read. I had a disturbed night sleep wise.
"Step by step, heart to heart, left right left,
We all fall down like toy soldiers.
Bit by bit torn apart, we never win,
But the battle wages on for toy soldiers."
-Martika
*Thanks, Marsy, for letting Ninang play with your toy soldiers.
My trip was filled with bad travel experiences. This is the second gate I departed from in about an hour. We had to change planes.
The boys relax on the couch after a long day of moving furniture and the rest of the stuff from our apartment.
I decided to take two pictures to show that with every end, there's a beginning. I think the clock striking midnight on New Year's Eve shows that because you're saying goodbye to the previous year and welcoming a new one. My day hasn't ended at midnight since college, but I'm thinking that maybe it should. Going to bed early would help me get up early...in theory. I don't know how well that resolution would work.
Anyway, I've reached the end of this year-long journey with only seconds to spare (shows you how much of a procrastinator I am). It's been fun, but I've decided to hold off on Year 2. There are other projects I want to pursue, and it'll be nice to not have to take a photo every day. I'll miss it though. Project365 has showed me that I can develop a new habit over the course of a year so it gives me hope for my resolutions.
Domo and Glowy the snowman. A new addition to our Holiday decorations Glowy puts a little multi-colored led twinkle to our sofa table.
§ A Bright Idea. Part 3 of my Domo & Light series. Domo and a desk lamp with a small flourescent. Instead of multiple exposures by changing the aprature I did a combination of shutter speeds.
