Just like when I was there two months ago, it rained every day on this Hong Kong trip. So a teeny glimpse of blue sky was very welcome, even through a tangle of wires.

Day 108: I was wondering what to take a picture of tonight and then with camera in hand laying on the couch looking up i noticed how the lighting made this interesting effect on the ceiling.
Today was Ms. Cynthia's last day at Maya's preschool. We'll miss her :: she's Maya's first teacher + taught her so much ... and almost as importantly, she's so good at doing Maya's hair!

My sock monkey, Jock, chilling with my Pepsi. Started off as an all color picture, but I removed all of the color except for the mouth, heart, the soda can, and then for fun, the two little stars on my computer.
I decided to take two pictures to show that with every end, there's a beginning. I think the clock striking midnight on New Year's Eve shows that because you're saying goodbye to the previous year and welcoming a new one. My day hasn't ended at midnight since college, but I'm thinking that maybe it should. Going to bed early would help me get up early...in theory. I don't know how well that resolution would work.
Anyway, I've reached the end of this year-long journey with only seconds to spare (shows you how much of a procrastinator I am). It's been fun, but I've decided to hold off on Year 2. There are other projects I want to pursue, and it'll be nice to not have to take a photo every day. I'll miss it though. Project365 has showed me that I can develop a new habit over the course of a year so it gives me hope for my resolutions.
Today's Project 365 photo is of a pole up the street from me.
Earlier this year it was 'Yarn Bombed" when anonymous knitters covered it up for the winter in multicoloured hand knitted blankets.
I noticed this morning, that it has had a bit more added to it in time for the festive season. The beads on the sign were a nice touch too.
If there isn't a term for it already, I'd like to call this "Santa Bombing"... but that might be a bit traumatic for the kiddies.
I started collecting Hallmark Christmas ornaments about 10 years ago and now have over 30 in the collection.
The reason these couple haven't been packed away yet (refer other photo too), is because I've been sourcing some that I didn't have of particular sets, and thus have just bought these.
This book is part of the Winnie the Pooh book series, and this is actually the first one from 1998 (that I just managed to buy).
I only actually started buying them in 1999. They are lovely ornaments, lots of attention to detail, and are all "marked" with the year of production.
Can get a little bit expensive though as some of the ornaments can be around the $20 each mark.
#project365 I had to give up caffeine, hubs brought me green tea in my fav glass teacup out on the balcony reading & enjoying the morning!
