Ready to spend lots of money

My favourite two mugs in the house. You'd be surprised how many there are to choose from. ... Posted via email from Musings + Project 365

Spent this week working in Switzerland. Photographically not a great week if you're expecting to see the Alps. Most of them were definitely more of the documentary variety...This is the Matterhorn of Schnitzels - as far as fried, breadcrumb covered meat goes, it doesn't get any better than this. The ... Wrapping up birthday gifts for guest running late. #gooddeedfortheday

My newest model. She loves to pose only because she thinks she will get some extra stroking. Eventually she moves to rubbing herself on the camera lens.

My cutie-pie little niece with chocolate on her face. :)

the head inside a harddisk. When they say 'head crashed', they're talking about this driving itself into hte metal platter. Newer disks have far smaller heads.

Missed out on some great opportunities this morning because of a dead battery, so it was back to hunting around the house again this evening.

Today's Project 365 Pic is of a beautiful Autumn day.

I was leaving a school I do work for and noticed that someone in the picture doesn't want to admit that Autumn is here.

(Either that or it has just realised that it isn't the same species as it's friends)

Sara made some black been burgers with a vegetarian friend that came over.

Lonely night at the coffee shop!

Day 215: I started to watch a movie on tv tonight and really didnt get anything done that i was planned on doing.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I took this picture very late in the day, and my camera is on Swedish time, so the photo is registered as the 13th even though I technically took it on the 12th. Oh well.

Today was "bring you child to work day" at my office. They had a whole safari theme set up for the kids and gave them all a cool little goodie bag with an activity book, crayons, binoculars, flashlight and a few little animal toys. Connor is the only one in the age range that they allowed to attend, but he had a blast.

Society claims to love a maverick, but I'm not so sure. When you look at places like PeopleOfWalmart.com, what you see is folk being ridiculed just for being "different". For not fitting in. For being a maverick.

That sucks.

If someone wants to be a bit different from "normal", from "average", then as long as they aren't causing harm or distress to others I applaud them. Maybe their look is not something I like, maybe their actions are not how I would act, but if they respect others they have every right to do what they want without ridicule or shame.

So this picture is for those who dare to be different... even if it's not in one of the ways that society sanctions. Go for it, mavericks!

PS A huge thank you to everybody for your comments and faves for yesterday's photograph, which made it to #135 in explore!

Today's Project 365 is a high speed shot of the rain we had today. If you view it in a larger size www.flickr.com/photos/deanog/5342585610/sizes/l , you can see the individual raindrops and even some of the drops crashing into each other.
