A flower from our garden. It's called a Callistemon citrinus ('Violaceus'). The golden sunset cast a nice warm glow on the background. I chose this photo for my Photo-of-the-Day because I love taking walks at sunset and these flowers in full bloom caught my eye. They must thrive in mild California Coastal "winter" weather. The average temps lately have been 70/40.

Bård suggested to put some LED's inside the house. It actually looks cool, like some haunted house...
Ohhh and I need a Tripod for this kind of pictures.

I noticed the way the lamp backlit this bottle of chocolate Nesquik and really liked it. Truly, it is the holiest of beverages.

This Hallmark ornament is part of the "Cool Decade" series - started in 2000.....I'm still chasing two from this series that I didn't buy at the time (stupid me), and then I will have all of them in the series....I'm gathering the series finishes at the end of this year (?).
