Desperation shot. Macro of my ridiculously expensive running shoes (that aren't getting run in). Although we're talking about going tomorrow though.
[2011-01-19] My imagination combined with the announcements from the building managers led me to believe that B3 had been filled to the shoulders with flood water. There is a sign up saying we enter at our own risk, and yes, there are a few muddy puddles still in there, but on the whole it was not as bad as all of that. No need to make an insurance claim then. As an aside, there is nowhere to ride as all of the bike paths have washed away.
Having left work tonight rather closer to 10 o'clock than I prefer, the last thing I felt like doing was taking a photo. Thankfully this presented itself in the loos on the way out. This is, unfortunately, the only image I took today. I took this from my car's parking space at work before I began my drive home. While driving home I was paged, and had to work for 2.5 more hours after I got home. Instead of taking more pictures, I played Battlefield 4...BELIEVE ME, I needed too.
It might not look appetizing but dinner was really yummy. Portobello mushrooms wrapped in turkey bacon and baked.
[2011-01-14] As we've been without power for a few days, we've been staying at Shawn & Rachael's at Goodna. Here, the floods were much worse than at Booval. This Maccas went completely under water. Waking up, feeling seedy after bourbons, the Maccas run was not an available option.
Todays Project 365 is the screenshot I took of my name up in lights on the side of the Australian Museum as part of the Sydney Festival.
From the website:
Your Name in Lights reflects the changing cult of celebrity in modern society and recalls Andy Warhol's prediction that in the future everyone will have their 15 minutes of fame. Drawing on imagery from Broadway theatre displays and Hollywood films, this ambitious new work will involve more than 100,000 participants.
