Why? Because I had to. Because I really couldn't help myself. Because I couldn't go to bed if I didn't do it. Because I tried writing, playing piano, and I was still all, "GAH! I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING".
I'm not very happy with myself right now. If people know the secret to sleeping without throwing themselves down stairways, please let me know.
iPad typing again...I just realized the warped head thing. I did NOT Photoshop that. Ahhhh! Creepy!
I am kind of sleepy now. It might be the concussion. (just kidding...please don't call 911)
OMG! What the hell happened here?!? I didn't photoshop layers, I just made in B&W in Lightroom. WTF?? *total panic* Does the back of my head have ears and a recessed chin?!? OMG!!
Seriously, SOOC with just black and white in lightroom. And yes, honestly freaked out. Maybe me camera is possessed. That would be funny. IF IT DIDN'T MAKE THIS!
K, weird. I'm having deja vu that someone bitches me out for staging this and doesn't believe that I didn't warp my head to look completely unattractive like a cone head with her face punched out. And I get all upset and don' t have a good come back except, "Well you look like a stone hedge with a rock up it's ass". It makes no sense, but I laugh, and this person punches me in the face. I give up.
YAY! SLEEPY TIME!
Gnargh. That's not a double exposure. Nevermind. That's the string of ligament that keeps my head on and a little tendril of hair.

Staying in a 16th Century coaching in. This was the entrance to the car park. With my wing mirrors folded in, I had a luxurious 3 inches each side!
So here we go again.... Project 365... I attempted this project last year and failed after a month and a half. This project really puts you on your toes and puts your creativity to the test. I definitely look forward to completing this project this year. Wish me luck!!
#project365 day176 it's finally getting cold in Florida!!! So today I got to wear my brand new Carlos Santana boots! I had a focused day at work, then ended my evening with a nice relaxing yoga session. :)
Today's Project 365 pic is a test of the HDR function on the iPhone 4.
The HDR on the phone only takes 2 shots, I'd rather do HDR on the EOS, that way I can take 3,5 or 7 different exposures and stack them the way I want.
The monument in the picture is the Eureka Stockade monument in Ballarat East.
The canons aren't from the rebellion itself and it's location may not be exactly where the stockade was, but it is still an impressive tribute to the miners who stood up for their rights.
A bit of fun at the Vancouver Canuck's fan "party on the plaza" at Roger's Arena a couple of hours prior to the Canucks defeating the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 in the 2nd game of their playoff series.

San Francisco is home to The Creatures of the Loin AKA Moped Army. I suspect this guy is a member of the club. Sadly, he's pushing not riding.
It's the little things...

Today's Project 365 Pic was a little bit of a fluke.
We finished up at work 10 minutes early and on my way home the sunset near the lake looked great.
10 minutes later it didn't look anywhere near as good.
Right place.. right time
I had to run an errand in the financial district today. Snapped this through the windshield. I really like it.
Jun 15 Getting ready for London tomorrow!! Hopefully, I'll get some good photos the next couple of days :-D!

It's my birthday today. I'm not that great at organising things like parties, so I generally have nice quiet birthdays which suits me fine.
This time I thought we should go and try Graze, which is a new restaurant / bar at the bottom of the Southgate Centre in Bath. Apart from mainly stocking Bath ales and serving fantastic meat, there was clearly a very deliberate visual theme. The main lights in the room were essentially beauty dishes above each table with pale wood and muted pastel colours everywhere else - all very relaxing.

We'll the up-side to having to get up 1 hour sooner than my internal clock says is ok, is getting home with some daylight left.
Of course the Sun is still on Holiday.
Katie Wearie is a character from Linlithgow's past, a lady who drank the water of the well and was miraculously rejuvenated, ready to continue her droving.
In 2011 this sundial sculpted by local artist Tim Chalk was erected at the West Port of Linlithgow, to replace "Katie Wearie's Willow" - the tree where she rested to take the waters, and which had blown down in the gales.
I loved the bright sunny plastic sunflowers in the flowerbox.

Day 358, and some last minute additions for under the tree. Processed in Aperture using the “Toy Camera” effect.
[2011-01-20] Lui harvested some more sweet potatoes. If these things weren't so tasty, they would be considered a weed. They are irrepressible. Examples: I've had a plant grow from a slice put in the compost; and one branch that I mowed over continued to grow from a one-inch fragment - and put out roots.
This day started off really well, i saw my friend Jade and went round her new flat, then i went home and everything went waaay downhill. very stupid indeed.
This bird landed on the deck railing not far from me and was squawking and acting like it had a broken wing. I say acting, because I went to get the camera and I got this photo but when I got a bit closer it flew away. I don't know what his deal was!
Project 365 Day 1
I've decided to join in the Project365 group, where the aim is to take at least one photograph every day for a year. Photo's will be taken with either my Canon EOS 350D DSLR, Fuji Finepix F650 compact (most will probably come from this camera to be honest, i'm too lazy to haul around my DSLR every day), or if I am stuck with no camera it will be my cameraphone, whatever I have at the time.
This is my first - showing the winners of my companies UK geo location photography competition for 2006. I don't anticipate giving each photograph commentary.
