Jun 26 - Why did the bunny cross the road?
While on a walk along the Falmouth Bike Path, we spotted this bunny getting in his workout. As you can see, all types of exercise are encouraged along this pathway.
19.04.2010 - I dunno, you make yourself a healthy dinner. turn your back for a second and someone comes and steals it!! Oh well, bit of meat never hurts.
These fans suck in fresh air and pump it to below the road deck in a tunnel, they are huge, these fans are about 40ft in diameter, half the size of some in the main building but still impressive to see.

I spent the evening slaving away over this Love Field edit. I just kind of realized that there is a TON of content for this thing, and they want the edit Friday. Eek! During a break Emily and I signed up for Ride for Heroes. Looks like I'm gonna start getting in some shape now!
The Beetles.
There are these cool green beetles everywhere these days. They have an iridescence that the photo didn't really pick up.
Mid-autumn festival celebration at Eight Mile Plains, Queensland
About Mid-autumn festival:
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, Zhongqiu Festival, or in Chinese, Zhongqiujie (traditional Chinese: ä¸ç§‹ç¯€), is a popular harvest festival celebrated by Chinese people and Vietnamese people (even though they celebrate it differently), dating back over 3,000 years to moon worship in China's Shang Dynasty. It was first called Zhongqiu Jie (literally "Mid-Autumn Festival") in the Zhou Dynasty. In Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines, it is also sometimes referred to as the Lantern Festival or Mooncake Festival. (Wikipedia)
Today's Project 365 photo is of some of the decorations on my parent's Christmas tree.
This mouse decoration has been hanging every year for as long as I can remember. As a kid it was always my favourite and I always made sure it was always on the side of the tree that faces outwards.
Although they have an artificial tree now, I still fondly remember Dad would 'acquire' a real tree and we would decorate it.
It's officially cold: I needed a scarf and hat at this morning's Farmer's Market. The use of said accessories prompted me to change out the bedding: time for flannel sheets, the Vellux blanket and good old wool blankets just in case it gets chillier in the night. I love the cold weather and am looking to settling in for the evening.
I really need to attempt making tomorrow's picture during daylight...
First of all, I want to make it clear that I never go to McDonalds. Once, twice a year tops. But today I was hungry and I only had a few minutes to eat, so I sucked it up and ordered some chicken nuggets. Usually when I walk by at lunchtime, the place is jam-packed, but the downpour going on outside, may have held down the crowds.
I participate on an internet message board that had a gag secret santa exchange. This is part of my box of stuff. There is no good way to describe it, but this striped towel and Christmas reindeer made me very happy!

We've replaced our football. This one is lighter than I'd like so might end up in the neighbours garden if we kick it too hard.
My daughter has been struggling lately with being the biggest sister, so I decided we needed a mommy/daughter date. And because it's been so cold outside we decided to stay inside and go get a late lunch at a new cafe. We ate sandwiches and cookies and we played a board game. I snapped this photo when the card she drew told her that she needed to smell the inside of her shoe. I was great to hear her laughter today. I don't hear that often anymore, so I cherish it when I do.
We got our liquor cabinet today. I'm really excited. It cleared up room in our cabinets, pantry, and closet. Plus, now Delilah can't get her hands on our wine.
However, it's so big that now we need more liquor.
