A friend from high school introduced me to "I'm On A Boat." In return, I made sure we were outfitted with Santana champ' on his way through San Francisco for a quick visit.
This is my favorite duo of best friends EVER.
Matan (on the left) can do anything. He is epic. He can even fly. He just doesn't feel like it.
Andrew (on the right) is the nicest person on earth. I'm convinced of this.
The greatest thing about these two is that they are completely different, but they make a great duo.
We went to Friday's after Opening Night's show... which went well, might I add.
I wasn't feeling too great. Tech week pushed me over the edge and gave me a cold, so I could barely sing... but I made it through! At Friday's, I rewarded myself with a bowl of hot soup.
Oh, just set down the laptop and guess who takes over. Snuffy our cat loves the warmth of the computer. It is cute but I need to kick him off.
Tanjore Dancing Dolls (Tanjore Thalai Atti Bommai).. I got this doll from Thanjavur.
Thalai atti means head shaking. They are dancing dolls where head, body and the dress are inot attached together as a single piece but are just placed one on top of the other and sway independently. They are always made in a vertical standing position.

Early this morning, some time after 3am, I drifted to sleep. At 4am, my phone started ringing, and I haven't dozed off since.

Everyone is back in America today, and sad, and I am sad cause I know they would rather not be in New York, but happy to see everyones pictures and hear their stories.
And I'm kind of terrified for my monster AP test on thursday, so, uhh yeah.

Tried to take a multi image panorama from the top of the viaduct in Stockport today to catch the foggy morning, but the change in perspective is too severe to allow it to be stitched.
Proper murky out there though, cold crisp autumn mornings are my favourite time of year.

Day 179,my vacation arrived...new home for a while...!

Is a beautiful morning to take some sunrise photos, after a week staying at home finally I can come out and take some photos. IS not a good sunrise photo for me, but at least I got some satisfy shot before the rise.
God made the light, I just paint with it. Amen.
While most of the world stood awed, amazed and excited about our new PRESIDENTIAL REVOLUTION, Macy's and other dept stores were ruled by capitalism.
Hearing word of "free cosmetics," folks came in drones to take what they could get. Although only certain items were given away, one per person, in order to rectify past wrongs by cosmetic and fragrance companies ignited by a lawsuit, any and everyone came to stake their claim, whether they were the ones who had been wronged or not.
This is the line outside our store at 2:15pm, and don't forget about the line INSIDE! This is when our store was already out of many items (Chanel was the first to go). Mind you, I work in a small store. The corner of the store must've only stretched another 10ft off the margin of the pic.
People had been lining up since 9am. This picture does not properly represent the madhouse that was the store all day.
Today's Project 365 is another rain themed pic (Sorry!)
The town of Beaufort got 4 inches of rain last night and the rising creeks and drains required some sandbagging of low lying houses. Video here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAndVSA7AYQ
The local Fire Brigade and the SES teamed together to do this task. This pic was taken from the area where the sandbags were being filled.
Still.. it nothing like the devastation in Queensland.

While caught in traffic along Paseo de Roxas near Greenbelt, I grabbed this shot of a Hermes botique shop. The shot is really nothing spectacular but I had to fulfill my commitment to shooting one photo a day, even if it was a boring shot.
I actually took this shot through the car window on the right.
Shot with a Nikon D300 with a Nikkor 35-70 set at 70mm. Shutter speed 1/60. Aperture f/2.8. ISO 2500. Handheld.
Lesson learned: Shooting through a car window isn't that bad
Sherry's last night tonight at the Fiddle. Everyone raved about her Margaritas, and I couldn't let her leave without having one myself. I took several shots of my margarita, and this one was (I thought) an oops.
My finger was over my flash, hence the pink glow and weird lighting. Upon seeing the shots full size, this one was hands down my favorite. A happy accident indeed!
Project365: 2011 - Day 09
For this week, it's starting to look like I should have called it "scary silhouettes" :) I promise to get some less scary shots in before the week is up though, but I think that this week will definitely be all silhouettes like this.
I shot this in my upstairs hallway. I had one where I was wielding a ball peen hammer but I liked this one better.
I really have been liking the silhouette shots because it's helping force me to experiment with lighting and I think it's been great for my creative process, especially getting different shots in my house and not even stepping outside for shots yet. Being indoors forces you to think because there's only so many places/backdrops you can use.
Do yourself a favor and view on black already :)
