Had an immense Valentines Weekend in Edinburgh with Dan, Tobi, Helge and Esther. Spent more time in a taxi than I have done in my whole life, bought food that the ratio of expensiveness to quantity was of a poor effort.
Climbed 279 steps of a tower. Visited the galleries and museums, forgotten ID twice (even when I wasn't having alcohol...), had pillow fights, listen to a German's "horror story"...
Oh the list goes on, this weekend was good! Thanks to the two Germans, Norweigan and Dan from Wigan :)
225/365 Thursday 13 August 2015 - Went back to work today. Last night my neighbour dropped in the latest blurb book I've made (which was delivered the day we left for Bournemouth.) I am completely addicted to making Blurb books and need another adventure so I can make another book!
Seems like I'm at going away parties on a weekly basis lately. This weekend was the leaving party for Amy and Emily, two friends that I first met in Jeju on Chuseok last year, shortly after they arrived in Korea. I'll never forget how they were always at the head of the pack as we biked around the perimeter of the island. For the entire year they were here, they crammed in as much as they possibly could into every free minute they had. Anyone coming to Korea, or living abroad anywhere for a short period of time, would do well to model their stay after these girls. They came, they saw, they got involved.
As a side note, going away parties for people who arrived in Korea after I got here makes me feel like I've been here too long.

Second and third performance for panto. Such a long day, have been dancing and singing since 2pm in the afternoon. Can not believe how stressed I am, worrying about my dissertation every single minute.
Anyway. The girl scouts and some little kids came to us in the afternoon, they are so cute, really wanna grab them home. lol. The evening audience are amazing as well. Can't thank the audience enough for supporting and engaging.
This is a photo taking during the break time, lovely panto people doing a story telling hahah. It was one of the best moment form the beginning and can't believe tomorrow really is the end :( what am i gonna do with my life next term? what do i do on mondays and thursdays?
Love all of them and can not appreciate more of our big family. Working on this Peter Pan documentary project, gonna edit it in the holiday. panto love xxx

Shattered passenger side mirror on my Sunfire. One of those construction horses jumped up and hit it! I swear...
Replacement bag has been ordered. Have I got sharp hips or something? I always rub holes in bags in the same place.
The breakfast of champions. Traditional Finnish Karelian pasties topped with a slice of cheese and scrambled eggs with ham and onions. Oh wow. Honest and tasty.
Day 179: When i finally had time to take pictures tonight it started to rain. So i decided to try to take and HDR of the courtyard. I have struggled taking and creating HDRs in the past and tonight i was finally able to do it...Hooorray HDR!

Ty entertained us tonite by pulling up a stool in front of the fridge so that he could play his guitar to the ABC songs on his Leap Frog Alphabet set. Lovely entertainment while cooking dinner ... I just kept getting sidetracked taking pictures! And video ... see it on Youtube (arwagners)

I cannot recall the detail but IIRC it was a cream, condensed milk and lemon moose topped with meringue.
Inspired by yesterdays mishap with the egg.
This is a tentative attempt for the CanonEOS competition 'Inspired by sound' brief. The sound was a descending tone like what is heard as a bomb drops.
I'm not sure if it will be my final image yet... time will tell.

Day 85: One more photo in my birthday present series. I asked for and received a gorillapod (hoooray!). But my mom can't always remember the name and sometimes calls it the godzillapod.
Today's Project 365 pic is of the Titanic Bandstand in the main street of Ballarat.
It was erected in honour of the Titanic's Band who played while the ship was sinking, in an effort to try to calm the passengers.
I may do another 365 pic of it's Weather Vane another day. It's in the shape of the ill fated vessel.
This is the Sagrada Familia in Spain. My abstract interpretation of it on pen and ink. This thing really pushed my skills on pen and ink. I mean I had to be more abstract with this one because there is so many details on it. so I just gave it more silhouettes and playing with the shadows with not too much details.

Today's Project 365 shot is another night shot of Sturt Street in Ballarat.
I quite like the colours, as the statue of Sir Albert Coates (Famous WW2 Doctor www.awm.gov.au/exhibitions/fiftyaustralians/9.asp ) has a purple light, the red of the car's lights and the blue of the walls of the nearby restaurant.
