Another first alone - going to the first farmer's market of the year, and not really knowing what to buy, since it's only me now.
[114/365]With Whom...
This is who I share my bed with most nights. Ok I guess really he shares his bed with us...
ODC: COMPANION
Today's Project 365 pic is of Ballarat looking to the East.
In the pic you can see a couple of the locations I have featured in my Project 365 photos.
It's best viewed in lightbox mode or large.
From this high vantage point I can see everything that goes on in the City.
I'm Batman.
Tanjore Dancing Dolls (Tanjore Thalai Atti Bommai).. I got this doll from Thanjavur.
Thalai atti means head shaking. They are dancing dolls where head, body and the dress are inot attached together as a single piece but are just placed one on top of the other and sway independently. They are always made in a vertical standing position.
God. I need a hand with this project. It's getting quite hard to come up with ideas for it every single day. I think I'll have to start carrying a notepad everywhere I got to write down ideas on it (if/when they come). Quite frankly, I've been staggered for a while now. I probably need to relax and try more basic stuff, instead of going for such complicated things. Anyway, that's that. This is today's photo (quite a while late), but, hey, It's something

Day 220/365
I love this picture. I think it looks gorgeous and, dare I say, sexy too (which is a rarity for me.)
Today's Project 365 photo is of one of the cockatoos that feed outside my Parent's kitchen window.
There were 3 feeding, but they flew away when the dog ran outside. This one eventually came back.
The cockatoos are having a turf war with the parrots... it looks like the cockatoos are winning despite lacking in numbers.
The stunning international passenger arrivals walkway at Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Makes it feel REAL good to be home.

Sexta é dia de ser feliz. E nada como uma bela sobremesa pra fazer a gente feliz igual criança. Essa torta de maçã da Dona Bella é de comer ajoelhado, agradecendo o cozinheiro.
A decent-sized carpet python slithers its way through Bunya Forest while I was out on an afternoon walk.

Today's Project 365 pic is of the McDonald Gates in the Ballarat Botanical Gardens.
The gates with their ionic (That's ionic, not iconic or ironic) pillars were erected in 1921 with funds from the McDonald bequest.
A few years ago ivy covered the walls and I think it made the structure look even better.

This is our kitty Lucky. We adopted her in 2007 and she's been with us ever since. Like Chuy, she goes outside to do her business - we don't ever buy cat litter anymore, straight after eating she stands near the door and meows until we let her out. When she's ready to come back in, she just scratches the screen door... She gets along well with Chuy, but she makes sure he knows she's the boss.
I finished my English essay today. Late last night I found out that my professor extended the due date for my essay to Monday, so I have more time :o)
Happy Friday guys :o) I hope you have an awesome weekend and you fit in a catnap or two somewhere in between :o)
Struggled to come up with something, then after trying a few things. I found this beauty waiting for her portrait to be taken.

Project365: 2011 - Day 09
For this week, it's starting to look like I should have called it "scary silhouettes" :) I promise to get some less scary shots in before the week is up though, but I think that this week will definitely be all silhouettes like this.
I shot this in my upstairs hallway. I had one where I was wielding a ball peen hammer but I liked this one better.
I really have been liking the silhouette shots because it's helping force me to experiment with lighting and I think it's been great for my creative process, especially getting different shots in my house and not even stepping outside for shots yet. Being indoors forces you to think because there's only so many places/backdrops you can use.
Do yourself a favor and view on black already :)
oh yeah - lock your doors! :)

Today's Project 365 pic is of something that I never saw in the Batman movies.
It is possible that this is what Alfred drives down to the shops to get groceries for Master Bruce.
Looks like Stately Wayne Manor must have allowed the Monster Truck Mayhem crew borrow it for the weekend for the car crushing extravaganza at the showgrounds this weekend.
