There's something so lovely and ironic about going out of business stores going out of business

I have no idea.

It was sprayed on a bin, not officially I suppose.

Violet Monroe is teaching me how to elevate my selfie game.

Today's Project365 photo is of some of the old signage on the side of a shop beside Pencilmark Lane in Ballarat.

I've altered the photo to make it more readable, but if you can't read it, it says:

Old suites repaired

Horse hair mattresses remade

Go carts & prams renovated

Saddlebags

Suites made of the ????

French polishing done

Project365: Day 17

January 17, 2009

Hand-dipped chocolate-covered goodies at our local Godiva.

I have missed a few days of my 365 days of photography challenge. Moving sucks and unfortunately doesn't leave much time for photo taking. I hope to restart the challenge from today onward.

“Are you upset little friend? Have you been lying awake worrying? Well, don't worry...I'm here...The flood waters will recede, the famine will end, the sun will shine tomorrow, and I will always be here to take care of you. ~ Charlie Brown to Snoopy

I've been a horrible flickr friend...So sorry for being tardy with catching up guys, I've been spending so much time working and studying that I'm barely putting reasonable effort on my 365. Even Chuy's getting a bit upset because he feels a bit neglected...

Today, was an eye opener for me, took Alex to work while his car's being serviced... he works 1 hour and 25minutes away from our house and I just realized how dedicated he is... I like that :o) Currently reading 'Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close' by Jonathan Safran Foer, Nat has loaned it to me for some holiday reading...:o)

Life gets crazy, but I'm starting to get it all together now. Looking a bit brighter. I'm finally learning to balance work & play. Now to apply it...

Hope your week has been wonderful. :o)

Steady rain fell outside throughout most of the day while I worked through various conference calls. As always steady progress being made but timescales are very tight to get everything concluded in time.

MY local newspaper - that Falkirk Herald - held a meeting in Falkirk town centre today to discuss the forthcoming Scottish independence referendum. An interesting, although all left-of-centre panel of speakers consisted of our local MP Michael Connarty and Labour candidate Karen Whitfield on the "no" side, with the "yes" campaign being represented by Clare Adamson of the SNP and Patrick Harvie of the Greens.

To be fair, I don't think I learned a lot - most of what was said has been said many times before. To my surprise, the speaker with whom I agreed most often was the Green Party's representative - well, at least until he started pushing his party political (as compared to Independence referendum) agenda

The debate was held in the Trinity Church, Falkirk. It is a building which has recently been rather beautifully refurbished, but can trace its history back to the Battle of Falkirk in 1298 and beyond.

A suitable site for an important national discussion!

In a location not quite as grand as Durham Cathedral! I spotted this on a 'fence' made up out of repurposed old doors

We found this chromatography experiment in The Guardian comic.

You make a mark with a felt tip, then drip water on the mark, watch the mark and let it dry. The pigments that make up a colour dry at different rates.

Well, it helped amuse an exhausted Charlie and her bestfriendJake on a rainy afternoon...

Just proving a little guy named Brandauer wrong.

My kind of Christmas Eve.

Today's Project 365 is a sunset over the Beaufort Lake.

The spot where I had planned on taking the photo of had cars and fishermen in the way, so I ended up going for a walk towards town instead.

After work today I was hoping to catch the storm front over Lake Wendouree, but it was a bit of a fizzer, as it seemed to go around us.

I stuck around and watched the rowers and kayakers, at one stage in front of me, it got fairly busy out there.

Apr 6 I love to look at old things! I don't think the pistol is real but it sure does make for a nice photo :-)

Took a Sunday morning stroll to Windsor. The clouds darkened as I reached Eton just before a downpour. I'm going to buy myself a water proof jacket for these walks as I got soaked.

Two vintage Asian bowls from my china cabinet.

Day 324 – Taken at 5AM… Monday - Friday Niyah has water polo practice at 5:15AM, as well as practicing after school (H2O season has begun!). #Project365

We will have a lot of cherries this year:)

My sister & I have been exchanging moose gifts for over 20 years now. This was what I got this year. The funny thing is that I also bought her a moose salt & pepper shaker this year too.
